Dangers Of Concealing The 5 Natural Emotions [VIDEO]

0

From an early age, most of you have been trained to hide and not express your real feelings. You have perceived profound emotions such as anger, grief, and fear as negative and therefore you have learned to repress them. In the below video, you will see how many of you struggle to submerge your feelings, instead of learning to express them in healthy ways, leading to stress, anxiety, and depression.

Neale Donald Walsch in Conversations with God said there are five natural emotions which when repressed produce reactions.

Grief is the emotion of saying goodbye. It is the release of sadness. Yet, grief that is continually repressed becomes chronic depression. You control grief, depression controls you.

Anger is saying ‘no’. It does not have to be abusive nor damaging to the other person. Anger should be expressed. If anger is not expressed, rather repressed, it becomes rage. You control anger, rage controls you.

Envy is wanting to do something that the other does. It was designed to help people try harder until they succeed. Yet, repressed envy becomes jealousy. You control envy, jealousy controls you.

Fear was created to instil a sense of caution in people. Caution is a tool to keep the body alive. It is an outgrowth of love. Love for the self. Yet, repressed fear becomes panic.

Love requires nothing else. Just to be expressed. Yet, repressed love becomes possessiveness.
