Must Watch Video on Statism: The Most Dangerous Religion

One of our goals here at AnonHQ is to help awaken the masses, so whenever we come across any eye-opening information, we’re sure to share it. The video below, edited by Harvey Lester and featuring Larken Rose, provides powerful and sobering insight into our current reality.

Both Europe and the U.S. are split into states, whether they are independent States, or nation-states. Statism refers to the support or belief in the sovereignty of a state, yet this conflicts with the idea of a democracy, which is what the U.S. and most other Western nations are supposed to be. Let’s break it down:

Merriam-Webster describes democracy as a “government by the people; especially : rule of the majority,” and “a government in which supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly or indirectly through a system of representation usually involving periodically held free elections.”

That sounds nifty. Now let’s see what Merriam-Webster says about statism:

Concentration of economic controls and planning in the hands of a highly centralized government often extending to government ownership of industry.

If you’re an individual who keeps up with political, economic, and even social and environmental issues, you might be a bit confused.

Going by Merriam-Webster’s definitions, we as citizens are run by governments in which we have all the power, and according to the explanation for statism, this supposedly gives us economic control, yet most people are struggling to get by. In the U.S. alone (the country that probably boasts about its “democracy” the most), 45.3 million people were in poverty in 2013. So, did these people choose to be poor so that others in their society could gain more wealth than needed?

The economic conflictions when it comes to democracy vs. statism barely touches upon the true extent of the mass-deception we are all living under. There are numerous other conflicting issues to take into consideration as well, such as the police force (mostly this refers to American police), who are killing the citizens who supposedly control the government, which is employing the police who are killing citizens. Confused again? It’s probably best just to watch the video:

Considering it is the citizens who supposedly have all the power, we’re the only ones who can bring an end to this destructive system, and there are plenty of alternatives. It is time for us to research, explore, and support those alternatives for the sake of future generations.

  1. How else could we organize and work collectively?
Governments that work for the highest bidder, and are swamped with corporate backwash (politicians and public representatives that come from the corporate world and that infiltrate governments), are unaccountable and dangerous. Governments that are slaves to banks are powerless.
But governments that are democratically elected, value human life –life in general actually– and that recognize the importance of our collective goals as human beings (OVER balancing a budget, increasing GDP, shackling ourselves with debt and austerity, killing and spying on each other out of irrational fear, fighting a war on drugs, placating corporate bulldogs, etc.) could get some things done I think.
Where is this government? Has it ever existed? I don’t think so, but that doesn’t mean it can’t.
Most people just want to live their life in peace and security, but in this capitalistic, neoliberal political landscape driven by false-scarcity–by this I mean this planet has ample resources to support our global population for generations to come without people having to struggle to survive, and that humanity is capable of surviving and thriving (even with climate change)…but, there are obstacles in place that are mental/philosophical/ideological, and logistic in nature that block efficient management of change and innovation–our collective efforts are channeled by people addicted to personal profit, power, and “winning” at the expense of others. Our resources, time, and innovations are channeled into destructive and wasteful pursuits.
I think that in an ideal world we might be rid of governments, but, one step at a time. We need huge changes, but I don’t think we can just abolish government tomorrow and expect anything but chaos and massive unrest. We need EVOLUTION more than revolution (google definition: the gradual development of something, especially from a simple to a more complex form).Revolution often causes a vacuum to form that gets filled with something psychotic, or something as ineffective or oppressive as the previous regime.
But if people start to communicate their dissatisfaction (as they are, more and more) and if social movements grow and unite, locally, nationally, and eventually globally (as they are, and will continue to do, faster than might seem on the surface), then big changes can happen all of a sudden. In the language of evolution it’s called PUNCTUATED EQUILIBRIUM (google definition: the hypothesis that evolutionary development is marked by isolated episodes of rapid speciation–the formation of new and distinct species in the course of evolution– between long periods of little or no change). Hello paradigm change.

  2. Problem is, we do not have a “Democracy,” we have a “Constitutional Republic!” The differences:

    1. Democracy – Democracy, or democratic government, is “a system of government in which all the people of a state or polity … are involved in making decisions about its affairs, typically by voting to elect representatives to a parliament or similar assembly,”
    – Do we have a parliment – NO!

    2. Constitutional Republic – A constitutional republic is a state in which the head of state and other officials are representatives of the people. They must govern to existing constitution. In a constitutional republic, executive, legislative, and judicial powers can be separated into distinct branches.
Do we currently have this system -YES!

Case in point; when you here a government official calling our system a “Democracy” that IS the problem. Without a Constitution our great country falls to what THEY (The 1% – Elite) feel we NEED. So, when you here our President calling our government system a Democracy you will know and should know why he is calling it that. This has become our problem! Example of this: “I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.” Notice two things that our government is slowly leaving behind…God and Republic. Now you know why we have slowly become a third world country and have a 20 Trillion deficit. One word can slowly become common thinking and to which can cause government to NOT be for the people, by the people, but…of itself.

    • The Under God part was added well after the original writer died… in fact it was added as recent as 1954 I believe… it is not right to alter someone’s words whether they are dead or alive.

  3. Correction we are not a democracy but a Republic but today’s people do not know that. And the problem with most everything here in the states is that people are not standing up for their guaranteed rights. The church of America does not stand for much of anything anymore unless it is to stand to pass the collection plate. The church will not even stand up for its guaranteed rights.

  4. BAHHHH BAHHHH! I hear the sheeple saying they don’t believe and yet the truth stares them in the face everyday. Bahhh! Keep up the fight Anonymous.

  5. Church and state is a corrupt men’s club, mate. You forgot to mention the cave man myth that assumes humans can’t survive without authority because we’re all apparently savages without it. This is the attitude that makes church and state a perceived nessesity when in reality it is Anrchy that is the only state suitable for human habitation. Anarchy, another word taken out of context to mean something terrible when in reality it is the complete opposite.

  6. All these comment just prove his point people get defensive when you speak against government like you just took god name in vein but wait whos god. Why government wants nothing to do with god or religion Duh.. God dont know..! He dont see..!! His not real.! The only god is government in the eyes of the government. Its system laws and people we call politician etc. Only thing you can do is pray to the ONE TRUE real god if your even lucky enough to know him these days. This government is beyond help and so are the people in this country. We play blind to long..!! Damage is already done..!! Even know trying to open your eyes is just to hard. If you dont TRULY CARE AND WANT CHANGE DONT WATCH, DONT READ ,AND MOST OF ALL DONT COMMENT… THIS IS FOR PEOPLE WHO KNOW TRUTH AND WANT TO UNDERSTAND MORE….!! NOT FOR THE CLOSED MINDED..!!

  7. it is time of age for all Native People’s of mother Earth to regain and Head their Lands and resources for the benefit of all life upon mother Earth. The Westerner can not trust trusted for he – she has destroyed influence others in the destruction of our mother Earth. The ownership and Corporate privatization of Land and Resources by a few via Central Banking comes to an end…with the rising of the new BRIC’s nations, China take over of the IMF and Federal Reserve Banking System in the USA, mother Russia lead for World Freedom. (UPOKO ARIKI) Lord.Huriana member of the Native Maori Royal House O Maui, New Zealand, South Pacific Ocean.

  8. Democracy is just figment of your imagination, in fact there was never ever any country completely democratic….all countries have been either monarch, dictator run, or republics……….

  9. We are not a democracy we are a republic. The belief that we are a democracy is one of the American peoples major misconceptions. It is
The consensus among most Americans today.it’s another lie perpetuated by main stream media. Look up the difference between the two,and remember the pledge of allegiance.(and to the “REPUBLIC” for which it stands).

  10. We still have all the power, we just choose not to use it. We choose our own experience instead of standing up (not all of us btw). We choose not to research what we invest in. Even te policing forces are humans. We just feel alone, appart from others. We allow ourselves to be manipulated by choosing to let others do the thinking for us. We are afraid for ourselves. Easy to blame others, or the human world, but this isnt right. The human world is a product of our tolerance. Of our choices, as the masses.
