Is it possible for a cuffed man to shoot himself in the back while under arrest and sitting in the back of a police vehicle? Apparently so, according to the odd explanation offered by the State Police of Louisiana.
The strange explanation follows the death of Victor White III, a 22 year old man who allegedly killed himself during his initial arrest. Despite being cuffed in the police cruiser, with his hands cuffed behind him, he was able to shoot himself in the back.
White was arrested on narcotics charges. He was refusing to enter the back of the police cruiser when the arresting officer went to find assistance. When he returned, White was critically wounded, in the back of the car, in an area where there were no security cameras to support the claim.
Contrary to an autopsy report, stating the bullet entered White’s chest and exiting from his armpit area, his death is noted as suicide. This was changed from accidental shooting. The report also notated upper facial abrasions.
State Police Master Trooper Brooks David states that the original discrepancy was from the police asserting that they thought the bullet entered through the back. He continued to add that evidence was still being complied and that he was unable to comment any further on a criminal investigation.
“My son didn’t shoot himself. I never believed it. I won’t believe it. I know they beat him before he arrived at the station, because those who were with him before he was arrested said he didn’t have a mark on him,” states Victor White, Sr, the father of the deceased.
Since this report, the White Family has created a Go Fund Me account in hopes to fund an independent autopsy.

Murder? I think so, how does one get ahold of a gun while arrested? Is it possible that the police force had something to do with it? I think so because it’s quite impossible to shoot yourself better yet get a gun while you are under arrest and already searched for weapons. We as Americans better start doing more then commenting on websites this kind of corruption needs to be handled by fighting back. These Assholes need to be held accountable. It is true we need a revolution in the USA. Someone please tell me how we can accomplish this!!!
In this country people (even cops) are innocent until proven guilty. You that jump immediately to guilty are really not giving the accused a chance. Don’t you know that this will be investigated? You might not like the system, but if you were accused, you definately would. All cops are not good. All cops are not bad. True some of them think they are superman, and militarization of civilian police is bad, but that does not mean he did anything wrong.
So if I say something unpopular here, am I going to have to worry about you attacking me? At least I had the balls to say my mind, and you do not have to agree.
All I’m saying is do not condemn anyone unless you were there and saw a murder. The 22 year old was breaking the law, why didn’t you fault him, or does that not fit your agenda? Wouldn’t that make more sense? That is why we wait until the facts are in.
Because drug possession crimes don’t compare to murder and police abuse.

I feel like the cops get away with way to much shit. you know and they know this man couldn’. shot himself while in the back of they car. how did he get the gun if they search you before they put you in the back of the car. the cops that are responsible for this will get whats coming to them because KARMA is a bitch and it will get their asses . The system is screwed. Cops do what they want bc they think they can get away with anything . I’m living proof if that. I was run over by a drunk driver and the cops covered the whole thing up FOR THE DRIVER bc he worked for the towns DPW as the mechanic for the police cars. Also his passenger is the son of a retired officer where the accident happened. My accident happened almost three years ago and I still haven’t seen justice yet . The driver hasn’t had to pay any fines except for the careless driving ticket he was issued by his police officer buddy and I still owe a few hundreds of thousands in medical bills. My accident is why I no longer have any faith in the police or court systems.
