The Powers Behind the Islamic State

The Real News has conducted an interview with investigative journalist, Nafeez Ahmed, who explains the powers behind the Islamic state and what the world can do now to stop them.

Nafeez Ahmed:

“Well the first thing, I think, that is very important to grasp; the role that our governments have played in fermenting the crisis that we see. The rise of ISIS was kind of predictable, and it’s something that some analysts have warned about civil war in Iraq for years. I guess how the accelerated nature of what we’re seeing, you know, most people haven’t anticipated that, but it was predictable, and when we look at the way in which we’ve been funding some of these groups, it’s kind of ironic that we have the very same people now calling for boots on the ground, calling for a response—they’re the same people that have been very loud in their support for arming some of the most virulent elements of these rebel groups.”

“…The Obama administration has actively coordinated the financing that has come from the Gulf States to the very types of groups that they, historically, have always favored which is the most virulent Jihadist-Al Qaeda affiliated organizations. So there is a contradiction here in what we’re being told now, and the way in which policy-makers have kind of created this crisis, and now not taking responsibility for this crisis.”

(The Pontiac Tribune) – Originally, ISIS was known as ‘Jamāʻat al-Tawḥīd wa-al-Jihād’, it changed to ‘Tanẓīm Qāʻidat al-Jihād fī Bilād al-Rāfidayn’ in 2004 after the group swore allegiance to Osama Bin Laden. During this period, the group was popularly known as ‘Al Qaeda in Iraq’.

In 2006 it became the ‘Islamic State of Iraq’, but changed again in 2013 after expanding into Syria. At that point it became ‘Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant’ (ISIL) or ‘Islamic State of Iraq and Syria’ (ISIS).

Its latest title of ‘Islamic State’, came about after the declaration of a new caliphate on June 29, 2014.

  1. no matter who funds them, they are neither muslims nor humans. Though they claim to be muslims, the foundation of Islam is peace.
I wanna throw a question to that Islamic State,
They always tell they are killing, beheading, fighting for Islam. they want to protect Islam.
My Question: Who make them incharge? God/Allah? Who created this universe/cosmo/everything is not capable of take care of himself or his creation?

    • The question should bot be who made them in charge because Allah did. But, I am not responsible for anything of this and I do not stand as Allahs words but according to them thats what it is. So the question is, did he chose really them and the way their act or should it be someone else. Its not a fight for Allah anymore, it is more of their own power, as its said in Quran, there will be false truth inside these terror groups and people will have trouble to trust eachother and that has already happened. Also as we humans say, do not overestimate power, neither get fed of it, becauseyou may turn out to be exact as your enemy till the end of the day.

  2. their nothing but a group of animals bent on only killing and harming people theirs no point to support them and their I no peace with groups like this trying to reason and talk with them is pointless if giving them chance they should be killed off to the point of extinction…sometimes the key to peace is war mainly for people such as isis.

  3. The simple truth is that the United States and Russia had long ago laid the railroad tracks that created ISIS. Both of these countries have a long history of trying to control the oil supply.
This doesn’t make anything ISIS is doing as acceptable, for their crimes are beyond human. However after decades of American and Russian involvement where many crimes have been committed by both these world powers against the people of Iraq, it does not take much to rally the anger of people and put it into a concentrated effort. Hitler did this to the Jews. He would point out that Jews prospered well the whole country suffered financial ruin, Germany had been forced to pay for the cost of WW1.
He found a place to direct anger and wormed his way to the top.
Isis is a problem that belongs to the United States and Russia. If anything these two countries should be putting their troops on the ground to help make right what was made wrong

  4. Somethings to keep in mind as well… :

    * Abu Bakr al Baghdadi (Leader of Isis) is known to be a Jew named Simon Elliot/Shamoon Ayloot, born to jewish parents – He also has been trained in religious warfare to infiltrate sects and cause such an uprising as we see here. He also has links to the CIA/Mossad, and was even pictured in the same room as John McCain.

*The above article ties in with the pictures we see of ISIS troops wearing what appear to be US spec military camo clothing – US backing behind them..

*ISIS claims to follow “Islam” and carry out ‘Prophetic Methodology’ ie: behaving in the manner the Holy Prophet would have – However their actions totally contradict the very basis and foundational teachings of Islam.

*The Islamic caliphate ended ages ago – This lunatic is a Self Proclaimed ‘Caliph’ and has garnered the trust of many people more ignorant than himself and has got them to support his agenda.

  5. Hm…. Unrest caused by severe droughts? CIA Weather-altering technology maybe? Perhaps not. But still, it seems like the Western oil companies started this terrible terrible conflict over where they run their pipelines.
