Russia is to become the world’s ‘leading exporter’ of non-GMO foods that are based on ‘ecologically clean’ production.
Putin is not a fan of Monsanto or bioengineered anything, which is why, in a new address to the Russian Parliament last Thursday, he proudly outlined his plan to make Russia the world’s ‘leading exporter’ of non-GMO foods that are based on ‘ecologically clean’ production.
The Russian president harshly criticized food production in the United States, stating that Western food producers are no longer offering high quality, healthy, and ecologically clean food.
“We are not only able to feed ourselves taking into account our lands, water resources – Russia is able to become the largest world supplier of healthy, ecologically clean and high-quality food which the Western producers have long lost, especially given the fact that demand for such products in the world market is steadily growing,” Putin said in his address.
Reuters reports that it is likely Putin will use the country’s affinity for organic and sustainable farming as a centerpiece in his economic strategy.
“Ten years ago, we imported almost half of the food from abroad, and were dependent on imports. Now Russia is among the exporters. Last year, Russian exports of agricultural products amounted to almost $20 billion – a quarter more than the revenue from the sale of arms, or one-third the revenue coming from gas exports,” he added.
In Putin’s eyes, Russia is fully capable of supplying the domestic market with home-grown food by 2020.
This declaration comes just months after the Kremlin decided to stop the production of GMO-containing foods, a triumph seen as a huge step forward in the international fight to expose and ruin Monsanto.
With this latest news, Russia has clearly established itself as a dominant force in the realm of organic farming.

Don’t forget that they voted to get out of Ukraine which is totally legal according to law of nations – and they’ve tried it several times in the past but it was rejected by the Ukrainian governments.
Syria?! Russia and China were the ones who years ago demanded diplomatic solutions and pretty much predicted the mess we have now with the West supporting terrorist organisations (don’t come with the moderate rebels BS and check the facts!). Russia is the ONLY country in Syria which acts according the the law of nations! They also seem to be the only one fighting terrorism there effectively and covering up what all happened there over the years, covering up the lies of NATO-countries and allies. NATO wants to get rid of Assad for geopolitical interests, they don’t care about ISIS and friends. Just look at Saudi-Arabia, a dictatorship with some of the most cruel laws on this planet – yet the West doesn’t care to get rid of them.
Again…look at the history of Syria! I’m European and back in school we learned of Syria was a tourist country with one of the most modern laws in the middle east (equality between religions and also women/men), good education and more or less stable economy.
You have no clue what fascism is! Look that up as well and you’ll realise that us the West are the fascists on this planet. Just look how our governments tread us…they don’t care about our lifes, nor about the ones in Syria.
So again, go watch your propaganda news and live in that fake world of lies. But I don’t recommend it…wake up!
