  1. Yes he did do something very beautiful…He was human. As a fighter on the animal liberation front this is compassion at it’s fullest and I AM in love. There are many people in this world who need to realize the outcomes of their actions. When you freely eat meat and do not ask yourself these questions all you are doing is saying it’s okay for animals to be stationed in a slaughterhouse, fear running through their bodies, screaming, being tortured, punched, stepped on, dragged to their death with absolutely never a ounce of love. To be human is to care about not just people, not just their rights but every living thing in this world that is capable of love. You all have been touched in your heart by a animal at some point now thing of that animals suffering a life you could never imagine. That is what we do to animals when we do not care. I love you Anonymous <3

    • Are we living thriving with a “food chain”? No we are not. We are FARMING and consuming animals. This is not the food chain or the ecosystem… Are you even a revolutionist? If yes, then you should do deep research before concluding to any of your self made theories…

  2. It is alright to kill some animals to eat because animals like sheep starve to death due to their teeth deteriorating from eating grass. Also living thing dies anyway so why let them die at a sad old age, why not kill them before they get old and miserble. Also humans are of more value than animals, and the breed more than people, for example there are 4 million people in NZ and yet there are 37.7 million cows and sheep in NZ.
This kid should feel guilty of not eating his food due to the starving 852 million people in developing countries, who would give anything to eat octopus or pretty much any food without worrying about the animal who died.

The only thing inhuman is when an animal is halal killed because they kill the animal slowly with a knife. But proper people kill the animal with a machine that travels faster than sound and gives a quick, painless death.

So just don’t eat halal killed food.

    • This is me breaking down your post from my perspective.
“It is alright to kill some animals to eat because animals like sheep starve to death due to their teeth deteriorating from eating grass.”
So your saying because sometimes animals die naturally its justifiable to kill them? what?

“Also living thing dies anyway so why let them die at a sad old age, why not kill them before they get old and miserble.”
I could make the same argument about humans. Also, if you think food corporations kill animals humanely I would recommend you to some googling about chicken farming or any other animal industry for that matter.

“Also humans are of more value than animals, and the breed more than people, for example there are 4 million people in NZ and yet there are 37.7 million cows and sheep in NZ.”
I agree with your “valuable” point. Humans are more valuable I suppose. That point is valid. The next part isn’t though. There are 37.7 million cows because humans mass breed them because of the demand. It is not their natural doubling rate that contributes to their massive population.

“This kid should feel guilty of not eating his food due to the starving 852 million people in developing countries, who would give anything to eat octopus or pretty much any food without worrying about the animal who died.”
This isn’t a good argument. Although its true that there are starving people who don’t have food doesn’t mean he should be guilty about not wanting to eat animals. If he chooses not to eat meat then technically there is more food for others. I have heard this point allot being a vegetarian myself and its never made much sense to me. Although the already prepared food was “wasted” don’t act like you have never wasted food yourself for worse reasons and its not like that food wasn’t eaten. Someone else in the household probably ate it.

“The only thing inhuman is when an animal is halal killed because they kill the animal slowly with a knife. But proper people kill the animal with a machine that travels faster than sound and gives a quick, painless death.”
Actually animals are killed in way more inhumane ways everyday. Also, very few facilities give a “painless death” I would highly recommend you search up a slaughterhouse documentary.

I’m not one of those vigilant anti-meat people and people can eat whatever they want for all I care but it is really annoying to see people bringing up the same invalid points.

  3. Has everybody gone friggin nuts? Most animals we eat are only born for that purpose. Someday science will play God well enough to make us non-living, breathing, feeling animal like food. Until then remember we haven’t been plant eating foragers for 300,000 years, since we learned to fight and later cook lesser minded creatures than ourselves. Get over yourselves and learn to live and let die, for my health and well being, and for the survival of the human race. By the way dummies, there IS scientific evidence that plants have reactive cells that can interpret hostile or kind behavior and most animals raised for human consumption are treated to plenty of nourishment for growth, which is all that is needed and they die quickly so where is the in-humaneness?

  4. My daughter gave up meat at 4…….she couldn’t comprehend how anyone could eat a sweet little chick! In the beginning she was on a mission….. Trying to reform others….. It was kinda funny! She is 21 and still a vegitarian! Gotta love this kid!!!
