19-year-old Medhat Al-Emawi, a Palestinian born in Syria, lost interest in playing music after everything that happened in Syria. He came back to Gaza, the war started and his home was destroyed by Israeli military in 2014. While searching the ruins, he was shocked to see his qannon zither undamaged. Something inside him made him open it and he started playing it to bring back happiness to his life. The zither has a whole new meaning for him now…
