They call themselves AnonGhost and they are against Israel or as they like to call it IsraHELL. It reads we are the sounds of the forgotten people, the freedom fighters in the cyber world and our main target is Zionism and IsraHELL (Israel). These were the words that were stated on the United Nations website earlier this week. The hacker group called AnonGhost hacked and defaced their website in support of Palestine. United Nations released a statement saying that this act will further pressurize the future of Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. 
This cyber attack was to show the support to the Palestinian people as tensions were high in East Jerusalem regarding Al-Aqsa Mosque. As it is a sacred ground for both Muslims and Jews. There were massive protests from both sides. The protests took place because of Uri Ariel – Israeli Housing Minister – as he had plans to replace the Al-Aqsa Mosque by a Jewish temple. 
Apart the United Nations website being defaced; a hundred and twenty plus government websites were hacked too. They are of different countries, but their hacking motives are unclear. Below are a few websites mentioned on Pastebin:-
