Anonymous warns Ted Cruz that if he doesn’t drop out of the race, they will expose all of his indecencies, including his prostitute activities.
The majority of us heard about the #CruzSexScandal, in which the National Enquirer alleged that the Republican presidential candidate had affairs with a confirmed 5 different women. Right before the National Enquirer published their story about Cruz’s supposed mistresses though, Anonymous hacktivists released a video that warned that they would out Cruz on his involvement with prostitutes and other ominous activities if he didn’t back out of the race.
Anonymous has made many enemies in their tenure as a group of socially-conscious vigilante hackers that doxxes the information of big, bad people and groups like the KKK, ISIS, and Donald Trump.
A recent almost-victim of their attacks was Ted Cruz, who they threatened to expose for his less-than-admirable activities if he should continue his race. Their apparent reason for wanting him out of the race is for his constant lying, and they even accuse him of committing voter fraud for his “mistake” in telling Iowa voters and campaign volunteers that Ben Carson had dropped out of the race so that the last of the voters would instead vote for Cruz. The group then says:
“Almost every word that comes out of your mouth is a complete lie.”
After saying that Cruz needs to be exposed because the group wants to expose the fraudulent people attempting to rule the United States, they offer Cruz an ultimatum:
“Have you heard of the expression ‘candy wrappers’? Do you recall visiting prostitutes? Mr. Cruz, we are now demanding you exit this race immediately or Anonymous will release all of the information that we have found. You’re so called underground acts that you think were done in the dark, will be brought out for all the public to see. It will be sent to every media outlet to publicize your disgusting behavior. We assure you it will go viral on every social media platforms in a matter of minutes.”
Anonymous even makes mention of Cruz’s “ulterior motives” that involve his wife, Heidi.
It’s unclear whether Anonymous still plans on exposing Cruz for his indecency since one of Cruz’s scandals has already been exposed, but since he didn’t end his campaign over the rumors, Anonymous may feel that he needs an extra push. In the end, Anonymous signs off with their usual warning: “We are Anonymous. We are legion. We do not forgive. We do not forget. Expect us.”

Except doing illegal things for his “free time” like hiring prostitutes is not really appropriate behavior for a presidential candidate. Also, his foreign policy and diplomatic manners are extremely terrible. Both Democrats and the Republicans in Congress hate him, so Cruz won’t be able to get anything done. However, that can mean if they wanted, Congress can overturn any vetoes Cruz could make to proposed bills.
