A man in Washington DC was recently detained by the Secret Service for attempting to fly a drone outside of the White House.
This is the second drone incident at the White House this year, only four months after the original incident .
Eyewitnesses of the event tell CNN news that the man was attempting to fly the drone over the White House fence. A crazy result to this, is that the north side of the White House was put entirely in to lockdown! The lockdown has further been lifted.
President Barack Obama was not currently at the White House at the time of the arrest, due to his activity at Camp David.
The man who was arrested only found out from recent news reports that his drone actually crashed in the White House lawn, at around 3 a.m.
It is currently illegal to fly drones in Washington DC, let alone the White House. To make things even worse, the White House has restricted air space that counts towards remote controlled devices.
Secret Service Uniform Devision Officers saw the man flying the drone under 100ft that morning and took him into custody, also retrieving the drone.
