Ricky Munday and Daniel Saulmon were bicycling toward a reported police harassment incident earlier this month in South Central Los Angeles when they had their own confrontation with a Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officer.
LAPD Sergeant Neil Wank’s patrol car was blocking the bicyclists’ path, and they swerved to avoid his car. As Wank pulled away from the curb, he accelerated dramatically, leaving about three feet between his car and the bicyclists. Munday shouted at Wank to slow down. Instead, Wank immediately pulled over, got out of his vehicle, and began gesticulating wildly.
Wank approached Munday, who came to a halt in front of him. Wank is confrontational, puts his chest and face right up to Munday’s, before grabbing his left arm.
Unfortunately for Wank, Munday and Saulmon run a website called Mistakenbacon.com, and Saulmon was recording everything.
Once Munday brought this to Wank’s attention by asking Saulmon if he is “getting all this,” Wank’s entire demeanor changed; he released Munday’s arm and stepped back.
Munday calls Wank out on this, but Wank insists he is not acting differently, and that he had been on camera the whole time, via a body cam and dashboard cam. Wank claims he cannot turn off the device even if he wanted to, but as he pushed the applicable button on the device, once can see the green power light turn off and on, seeming to indicate the ability to turn it off, should he want to.
A sheriff’s department vehicle pulled up and joined the melee at this point in the recording, and Wank repeatedly insisted he had stopped Munday and Saulmon strictly to verify they were alright, that they were not shouting at him for assistance.
The parties all exchanged information, Wank gawking a bit when Munday and Saulmon revealed the moniker of their business, and at least in this instance, everyone went their separate ways safely.

people need to know the law, so they can report this. Actually, talking to him is more harming than good. You just need to report an abusive agent if you have proof like they did, telling him he has been recorded and not telling him that you will report him. Then you do report and sue if necessary. If one doesn’t know the laws that regulate your life, that man/womano is just wasting time.
Look, a lot of cops do a lot of fucked up shit, but these guys were just doing their job. You’re doing what Media has been doing for years, exploiting people who aren’t prepared on camera.

But they are ALL fulla shit, didn’t you know? I car camp across country, right now in S.C. I got rousted out of a FUCKING CEMETERY! The lie was how “we patrol here to stop the knocking over of headstones” and that’s just bullshit…. so were the other TWO squad cars that came over to watch the 1st fuckhead check my license over the radio! I told them they should lock me up. I am crippled and would rather have the state run around and fetch my meals for me, provide a gym and free cable TV, free healthcare (Now, we have to pay for Obamacare by law!) anf free college courses. Freedom is an illusion, you kids shoulf fucking wake up to that fact.

Governments job is to GROW GOVERNMENT and it’s clear to see three squad cars around a cripple in a cemetery means they’ve grown too damn big and if you own a house…. chances are your taxes on that house are TWICE what they validly need to be. It will continue to get worse if the species insists on pointless breeding.
Hmmmm I’m not going to side with anyone because there is missing footage. They SAY that Wank passed them illegally, etc. But they didn’t show that part and I trust nobody’s word when listening to a grievance with only partially “proof”, even Anonymous. If this offends you then you’re a fool since Anonymous is, at it’s core, all about not blindly believing everything someone says.
That aside, Wank was definitely lying about the camera. There is no dispute from me there. Written all over his face.

To know someone is recording you is very uncomfortable, especially in such circumstances where you are confronting others and are in an unpredictable environment. And making fun of his name? Really?
