Joyce Fedd claims to have discovered two worms in her McChicken burger. According to Ms. Fedd, she ordered the food for her two children from the McDonald’s drive-through in Jacksonville, Florida.
But she said that when she looked closer at one of the McChicken sandwiches she made a gruesome discovery: not one, but two purple worms.
McDonald’s quickly offered a refund for the sandwiches and issued a statement.
‘Food safety is a top priority and we take incidents such as this very seriously, as it is highly unusual,’ the McDonald’s owner and operator,Jim Van Laere, said to Action News Jacksonville.
‘We quickly reviewed our entire kitchen to ensure this type of occurrence could not happen.’
McDonald’s told Action News that the chicken didn’t come from them but from an independent distributor. Ms. Fedd wasn’t convinced.
‘There’s no telling what else is in those sandwiches,’ she said.
‘If it came from the shipping, I am pretty sure it’s not just one chicken sandwich.’
It’s bad enough that McDonald’s is unhealthy; we’ve also got to be careful to check that our next burger doesn’t contain any mystery meat.

I also had an encounter with a Jacksonville fl mc Donald’s and found a worm in my chicken mc nugget. I’m disgusted, sickened, and confuse on why I can’t find a lawyer to handle my case just because I didn’t get sick. It has to be against the law to put extra things into to people food. They shouldn’t be aloud to get away with this
