Belgium has implemented the idea of keeping a fridge stocked full of food 24/7 for their homeless. The strategy was first carried out on December 23, and has been fully stocked since, thanks to the generous community assisting.
It is also known as ‘Free Go.’ The homeless have access to it 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A second fridge is to be placed in the Belgium city of Ghent. So far, the program has been a huge success.
