He was telling people to run, grabbing people, telling them ‘you just have to go’. He actually ran back towards the building where the shooting was and he ran back into the building trying to talk the terrorist out of it, but instead got shot 3 times. But he didn’t stop, because it was his son’s birthday, so although wounded with 3 gun shots he said to him “It’s my son’s birthday today” and got shot 2 more times by the terrorist. Mintz was shot a total of 7 times. Chris Mintz is the real hero we should all talk about.
