Wikileaks has released audiotapes that reveal how those appointed by the Bush and Obama administrations have stolen funds that were intended to help the disabled find work.
That’s right, both sides of the political spectrum have appointed cronies who are willing to help their corporate-sponsors loot money from the most vulnerable group of people out there. Good job.
Billions of dollars worth of funds intended to help these disabled men and women, went straight into the pockets of defense contractors and large corporations which DO NOT HAVE LARGE NUMBERS OF DISABLED PEOPLE.
The AbilityONE program awards 3 BILLION dollars every year to government contracts, with the loot being distributed by a non-profit called SourceAmerica.
The money SHOULD HAVE been sent to companies that have blind or otherwise disabled people preforming 75 percent of their work.
Instead, reports that were released in July have revealed that more than HALF of the companies that were awarded contracts DID NOT hire enough disabled people to qualify, including the Department of Defense and contractors like Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and Boeing.
The 30 hours worth of Wikileaks tapes will provide further evidence of this corrupt scheme, and will hopefully put the final nail in the coffin of corrupt politicians who might have otherwise gotten away with plausible deniability.
According to Wikileaks, “It is alleged that nearly half of the $2.3 billion a year does not go to the severely disabled, but is rorted by pushing the money to corruptly favored placement organizations that recruit the able bodied or the mildly disabled instead of the mandated 75% severely disabled, the result is billions in tax payer funded labour subsidies and increased profits for the placement organisations.”
Nancyellen Gentile, a spokesperson for SourceAmerica, said the allegations are “false”, and part of a “smear campaign”.
“All of the allegations from these recordings that we knew of before today are simply untrue, and we have no reason to believe anything on these new tapes will be any different,” she said. Of course you would.
I must add that 3 billion dollars represents a tiny fraction of government spending. If they are willing to steal pocket-change from people who cannot see or walk, imagine what ELSE they’ve been up to.

My hope is that Anon continues to provide important information, and ceases to mislead people with the headlines and photos. In this case, you show a composite, side-by-side photo of W. and Obama. Yet the article points out that the corruption was carried out by Administration cronies, not the POTUS’ themselves. Is there evidence on the tapes showing that the presidents themselves were/are aware of the problems? I’m no fan of W., but if he didn’t know, why implicate him? And if Obama is challenged about this by you guys, will you give him an opportunity to fire and expose the bad seed?
Missing a comment from the Institutions for the Disabled as this would benefit the report.
Please provide the congressional voting record which would have actually made it real and the law.
