Outgoing Senior Adviser to Obama: ‘Truth is Still Out There’

Last month the White House announced the Spring departures of presidential aides Dan Pfeiffer and Jennifer Palmieri. This weekend, John Podesta, a senior adviser and personal counselor to President Obama also stepped down. A mysterious outgoing message posted to Twitter has caused some Americans to wonder why Podesta would say such a thing on the day he departed.

What is outgoing senior US presidential adviser John Podesta’s “biggest failure” of 2014?

He regrets that he couldn’t convince President Obama to secure the disclosure of secret files. He believes Americans are ready to handle the truth about what he says is an ongoing UFO cover up. This is quite an extreme claim to make for such a well-respected mind, someone who has been trusted to advise multiple US presidents.

February 13th was John Podesta’s last day as an adviser to President Obama. After tweeting “it’s been a tremendous privilege to serve a great President and the country for this last year“, Podesta proceeded to post his 10 biggest failures of 2014 in a rapid 40-minute countdown.

What was #1 on his list?

1. Finally, my biggest failure of 2014: Once again not securing the of the UFO files.

Previously serving as Bill Clinton’s chief of staff, Podesta appears to be joining Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign as a senior adviser. Why is he so convinced there is a UFO cover up? Why would the Clintons and Barack Obama hire a man for his opinion, when that man believes in ‘little green men‘?

Before 9/11 the most talked about ‘conspiracy theory‘ on the internet was that the US government knew of, tracked, studied, and some say even reverse-engineered recovered UFO technology. On May 9th 2001, after a decade of watching the X-Files on Murdoch’s Fox network, millions of Americans gazed into their TV sets wondering if fiction could indeed parallel reality. Aired by CNN at the time, more than twenty former high ranking US military officials ‘blew the whistle‘ at the National Press Club in Washington DC on what they claimed was an ongoing cover up.

A video of the conference is embedded below:

Meanwhile between February 2001 and March 2002, a British computer genius named Gary McKinnon hacked into 97 US government agencies looking for evidence of a UFO cover up and free energy technology. McKinnon made international headlines when he claimed to have seen evidence of a UFO cover up by NASA, the military and the US government.

While many disputed the authenticity of McKinnon’s accusation, US officials treated the breach of security very seriously, calling it the “biggest military computer hack of all time“. The US launched a 10-year legal battle to extradite McKinnon to America, where he faced criminal charges for hacking and has been considered a possible terrorist. If McKinnon had been extradited to the US, he faced up to 70 years in prison. McKinnon expressed fears of literally “ending up at Guantanamo Bay“.

Most people quickly forgot his story, and most were not aware of it in the first place. In those days, the 24/7 media propaganda for a new ‘War on Terror‘ had begun in America. It was good vs evil. The Patriots won the Super Bowl, and millions of American teenagers watched the invasion of Iraq live in their bedrooms on cable news before falling asleep every night. Of course, not before playing their favorite war simulation video games until the early morning hours.

Last year, a former senior Lockheed Martin scientist named Boyd Bushman, who holds 27 patents under his name, recorded a video which went viral on YouTube. He died of old age just weeks after it was filmed.

“We have American citizens who are working on UFOs 24 hours a day,” Boyd Bushman says in the video.

Bushman presents dozens of documents and photos to the camera claiming to have evidence of a UFO cover up. He even claims to have reverse-engineered UFO technology himself, and he is not the first Lockheed Martin scientist to make such an extreme claim after retiring. Is it fair to assume they have all suddenly gone crazy, or organized a hoax to be famous after they die?

It’s time to find out what the truth really is that’s out there. We ought to do it, really, because it’s right. We ought to do it, quite frankly, because the American people can handle the truth. And we ought to do it because it’s the law.” – Outgoing adviser to Obama, John Podesta, at a 2002 press conference.

For many, the mystery is no longer whether or not there is ‘something‘ out there which remains unexplained to the public. The question is if the entire subject is actually a carefully-crafted disinformation campaign to cover up secret programs, or is it what it appears to be, which would truly be the ‘biggest secret of them all‘…

  1. I think it’s much more to it than just convincing Obama to release UFO files. I don’t believe the president is the one in charge of this issue.

  2. I know this is not relevant to the story…but, I just wanted to let you know I think you guys are awesome. You are underestimated and underappreciated. Sure, we could do without the celebrity nude photo hacks, but everything else you have done has gone unrecognized as a public service. I must admit, although I have heard of anonymous several years ago, I only just recently had begun to appreciate you… Actually appreciate is an understatement. Nevertheless…you have my attention and support. 🙂

  3. This is one of the most biased and prejudiced articles I have ever read. You praise the man for his abilities yet take every opportunity to patronize his statements and eschew the idea that there might actually be intelligent life at an advanced stage of development in this galaxy.

So the guy has virtually unfettered access to several POTUS, but is somehow unstable? Do you think that what he said might actually be based off facts that none of us are privy to?
