In the wake of the release of a undercover video showing a Planned Parenthood worker in Houston graphically discussing the sale of fetal issue, Harris County District Attorney Devon Anderson has brought Planned Parenthood under criminal investigation, reportsKHOU.
The footage which sparked the investigation was recorded at the Gulf Coast Planned Parenthood Center in Huston and released Tuesday by the anti-abortion group Center for Medical Progress. The video is the 5th release in a series of undercover investigations by the group which show Planned Parenthood employees discussing the sale of tissue from aborted babies.
“The video has obviously been edited and they’ve got words in there, they’ve chopped it up. So we need to see it from beginning to end, to make sure we know the context of all the statements that have been made, and that’ll be the starting place for the investigation,” Harris County DA Anderson told KHOU.
The Center for Medical Progress’s video shows Planned Parenthood research director Melissa Farrell discussing how buyers of tissue can obtain “intact fetal cadavers.”
“So, if we alter our process and we are able to obtain intact fetal cadavers, then we can make it part of the budget that any dissections are this, and splitting the specimens into different shipments is this,” Farrell said. “I mean that’s — it’s all just a matter of line items.”
“Sometimes the procedures are longer, so then anything that we piggyback onto that for collection purposes, obviously, would have to reflect that additional time, cost, administrative burden,” Farrell also added in the video.
It was on Wednesday Morning that Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick announced his request to the Harris County District Attorney to immediately open a criminal investigation of Planned Parenthood in Texas.
“The people of America and the people of Texas will not accept this callous attitude toward human life, and I will not accept it,” Patrick said during a press conference on Wednesday. “I’ve asked the DA to immediately initiate a criminal investigation to see what laws, if any, have been broken in the state of Texas.”

If there needs to be an investigation why wouldn’t they just go after the group that secretly recorded and heavily edited the conversation and get the full version? Because the state has an axe to grind against Planned Parenthood, that’ sway.

It’s like people are going through the whole scam that ended up deep six’ing ACORN, and they’re almost happy to do it because their conservative radio or television program tells them that Planned Parenthood is akin to the act of the devil masturbating into their own specific church’s holy water.

If you were true to your mission, you would be talking about how the ‘Center for Medical Progress’ has heavy ties to Operation Rescue, a radical domestic terrorist organization, and that this whole sting epidemic is yet another step in the war on women and women’s reproductive health. This is the same tactic that was used to destroy ACORN; releasing a misleading, heavily edited video used to inflame an already hostile legislature which wasted no time in stripping its funding. In under a year, ACORN was bankrupt….several months before it was cleared of ALL WRONG DOING. And btw, Planned Parenthood’s abortion procedures account for 3% of their services. And NO abortions are funded by tax dollars…it’s banned by Federal law. By posting this tripe, Anonymous loses ALL credibility. I am sorry but what??? highly edited videos??? you sound like Cecile Richards or Hillary Clinton when you repeat her words as a parrot. There has been more than 20 videos and now US goverment are behind the young and brave man who exposed these videos, obama administration is pursuing this young man forcing him to get thousands of dollars to get a decent lawyer but guess what none of these murderers nor PP are being investigated as they should… why???? … because of blood money, women are dying everyday in those modern concentration camps like Auschwitz but now they are called Planned Parenthood abortion clinics where thousands and thousands of babies are systematically killed every day for the profit (blood money) of few and thousands of women get permanently, emotionally injured.
