CEO and Co-Founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg never seizes to try and impress. Other than his plans to make Facebook use Youtube-like video revenue and his ideas to bring near free internet to those of planet Earth, Zuckerberg plans to take Facebook to the virtual world.
The human race is a very adventurous species, we are always looking on ways to improve absolutely everything, ditto making our technology evolve with us. Our methods of distant communication has been an interesting and unique evolution, starting of with mouth to mouth, letters, FAX, emails, texting, social websites, video and of course many things in between. Mark Zuckerberg wants to make communication’s next big evolution.
Zuckerberg’s plan involves 3D virtual communication globally. The CEO is wishing to have virtual reality take over almost all aspects of things such as day to day browsing, gaming, and of course communication.
The basic start off plan is to use the Oculus Rift, a virtual reality headset which is strapped onto the user’s head. The Oculus Rift detects even the slightest head movement from the user, allowing the user to look around in things such as games, scenarios and soon to come movies. The Oculus Rift will be released to consumers in 2016.
This of course brings to us a number of questions; are we ready for virtual reality yet? Many people already suffer from things like nausea and severe dizziness from just half an hour from virtual reality gaming. Should virtual reality be only for a certain age group and higher? Kids are already gaining real mental addictions to things such as smart phones and Facebook. Is it healthy? It is possible that virtual reality could be slightly healthier than current platforms, as the user will have to regularly move around, preventing the rare problem of blood clots and headaches, but what happens when the user no longer needs to move to enter the virtual reality?
Facebook is still continuing to grow, almost doubling its review from last year, as well as having over 100 million more people active every day since last years June. Will these statistics help Zuckerberg complete his goal of virtual reality becoming the standard? Only time will tell.

Holy shit
“never seizes”? Who writes this bullshit? Fuck off.
Dont tell me he aint in it for the money & power – I dont buy it.
He even works with the NSA and stuff.
I never in my life heard about a person being dizzy or having headache of only 30 mins of gaming lol. Clearly the writer never played a computer game or have friends playing games.
When I was younger I could go like 24 ours without breakes worth mentioning.
But now I need a mental breake after intence maybe 2-3 hours.
I dont like when a person have so much money and power…it is too easy to abuse.
30 mins of fully virtual reality gaming.
