In a “stunning” plot twist the man who had fatally shot two journalists on LIVE television has turned his weapon on himself (there have been many similar high-profile shootings where gunmen choose suicide). Below is footage of the live event where gunman Vester Lee Flanagan II ( who was better known on air as Bryce Williams) shot and killed Allison Parker and Cameron Ward. Pretty disturbing stuff, though the camera is dropped down before one actually sees any blood. The gunman’s face is framed in the fallen camera just before cutting to the anchor. The anchor seemed to be slightly shocked, but shows little reaction to the incident.
It seems Bryce Williams was an exhibitionist, and even filmed the entire ordeal with a GoPro camera. Below is footage of this juxtaposed with the news story above. Be warned that this one is even more disturbing. In the video, he mutters the word “bi***” 16 seconds into the video; it would seem that he had some personal issues with Alison Parker. He spends a protracted period of time aiming the gun at the two as they interviewed a woman, though surprisingly nobody notices his presence; perhaps they were too engrossed with the interview. Regardless, he was waiting for the cameraman to turn back towards Alison- he wanted the shooting to be captured LIVE. For some reason he throws his GoPro to the floor just as the cameraman goes down, and continues firing.
“I’ve been a human powder keg for a while….just waiting to go BOOM.” The crazed gunman said in a fax to ABC News, according to the network
In an apparent effort at portraying himself as a good journalist, or perhaps it was an attempt at garnering sympathy, Bryce had also uploaded a strange show-reel of himself alongside the GoPro video:
Though he’s dead, it seems that the authorities are continuing to investigate the case; would have been nice if they had showed similar diligence in investigating the death of another journalist, Michael Hastings… gotta find that “motive” and mold it into whatever policy the government’s pushing today… Anyway….
Sheriff of Franklin County, Bill Overton, stated that the authorities were still unable to ascertain the gunman’s motive.
“Many of you have gotten a lot of the correspondence, emails that had been sent out. It’s obvious that … this gentleman was disturbed in some way of the way things had transpired,” and that “at some point in his life, things spiraled out of control,” Overton said.
The fax he had sent to ABC was 23 pages long, and as yet its contents have not been completely revealed by the authorities. What is known is that Bryce Williams (who is a Black man) had always felt like he was discriminated against, and had blamed the Dylan Roof shooting for pushing him towards murder: “As for Dylann Roof? You (deleted)! You want a race war (deleted)? BRING IT THEN YOU WHITE (deleted)!!!” the document reportedly said.
It is unknown how Bryce had found out that his coworkers would be at the location.
Troopers tried to stop the vehicle that Bryce was supposedly travelling in, but to no avail, as he sped off and crashed into an embankment. Troopers found him dead from a reportedly self-inflicted gunshot wound.
No offense, but the video, said to be recorded by the gunman himself, looks oddly fake. Mostly because if you look at the aim from the pistol, he should hit her right in the chest, but there is nothing on her dress, and while first shot is taken, camera just falls as if he had been shot in the back or shoulder. imo, the GoPro recording looks fake
And he looks rather white, compared to said suspect who is definitely black.
My only issue with this video is after two pretty close shots the girl still has the power to run away as if nothing happened. I would think after one or two shots at such a close range would do more impact.
Lemonwolf: I agree. The video(s) like the story itself… is purely fictional content. A dead giveaway was within minutes of the story breaking… The Dailymail.co.uk (as always) had all the photos, all the videos, etc.
Whenever you see Dailymail.co.uk on a story… you can rest assured it’s nothing more than content supporting a fictional narrative. Designed to feed the cable news beast.
Pure rubbish.
So you’re telling me that the whole time they didn’t see the gunman pointing a gun at them. … At all? Because I for one would have seen it in the corner of my eye with out a doubt.
