UPDATE 3:
Reports have now come in that at least 60 are now dead across six locations including the State de France, where a sold out concert was being performed by California based band Eagles of Death Metal. The band members have been confirmed safe, but some of their road crew are yet to be accounted for.

ISIS affiliated Twitter accounts have claimed the attacks for IS, using the hashtage #ParisOnFire, with Twitter users trying to take over the hashtag to show their support for Paris and undermine ISIS.

  UPDATE 2: The hashtag , “open doors,” is trending in Paris, with many in area of attacks offering to shelter those displaced by violence.

UPDATE 1: France closed its borders and the terrorists are now killing the hostages one by one after giving them a last opportunity to call their parents, relatives and or friends. Also German football players are being held as hostages.

As the death toll continues to rise, the Petite Cambodge restaurant in the 11th arrondissement has  seen a rain of gun fire, as has the Le Bataclan , where reports of at least 100 hostages have been taken.

‘’I guess there was more than one (gunman), I was looking at the floor and turning away from the glass, just a guess it was more than one. It was crowded, people outside of restaurant and café opposite, probably in one of the busiest corners of the street. I got the sense it was the restaurant I was in that was targeted,” one witness said.

Three explosions have also been reported near the Stade de France, where France was hosting Germany, and President Francois Hollande was watching the national football game. He has since been confirmed to have been moved to safety.

Dead and injured bodies can be seen on the roads near the Petite Cambodge restaurant, with another café at rue de Charonne reported as having been under attack with what some have described as hundreds of rounds of gun fire. With six gunmen involved, authorities have attempted to secure areas, but as yet, the gunmen are still at large.

    • Wrong!!! It began when the West initiated the war in Syria. These are just the ripples of France’s support of terror when it suits. It will be interesting to see the cartoons that Charlie Hebdo will create don’t you think. However, if you mean “And it begins” where attacks are being targeted in the West, yep, I agree. But “as you sow, so shall you reap”! By the way, these attacks are nothing compared to what France did to Mali and what France has caused in Syria. Feel for these people first before you think one iota of this attack!

    • it doesn’t matter where the so called “terrorists” come from, who gave the order for the attacks, that’s what we should all ask… and my belief is that these events (all these events, Charlie Ebdo, this one, and others from other countries in Europe) are related and the point of them is to inflict fear in population.. I’m willing to bet anything more of these will come by the end of the year… the options we (the people) have right now are to either learn to live without fear or panic and prepare to be treated as sheeps

  5. I am french, I was peacefully walking in the street without knowing, few streets further, was the rue Charonne.

    We have aroung 50-60 dead people, RAID and Military has been deployed. The country is closed, airport, everything.

    The Bataclan’s assault is now over… They said three people came in the concert room and started to kill people after taking some in hostage. We didn’t know about this german player, I don’t think this is true.

    I can hear the sirens.
