Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo intends to sue Fox News for insulting her city. “When we’re insulted, and when we’ve had an image, then I think we’ll have to sue, I think we’ll have to go to court, in order to have these words removed. The image of Paris has been prejudiced, and the honor of Paris has been prejudiced,” she told CNN recently.
The lawsuit threat came after Fox News suggested there are ‘no-go zones for non-Muslims’ in Paris and other European cities where Islamic law Shariah is practiced. These ‘dangerous Muslim neighbourhoods’ are supposedly out of bounds even for police, who fear to work in these ‘Islamic areas’.
The channel was widely criticised for using irresponsible judgements and bogus arguments about the ‘no-go zones’ to propagate a timid narrative about Muslims, post Paris terror attacks. France’s fake news program ‘Le Petit Journal’ sent their correspondents into Fox News’ no-go zones to swamp the channel for its coverage of imaginary ‘dangerous areas’.
When Fox News commentator, Steven Emerson, claimed that Birmingham had become a “totally Muslim” city, British prime minister, David Cameron called him a “complete idiot”. “When I heard this, frankly, I choked on my porridge and I thought it must be April Fools’ Day,” Cameron said. Emerson had proclaimed:
“In Britain, it’s not just no-go zones, there are actual cities like Birmingham that are totally Muslim where non-Muslims just simply don’t go in. And, parts of London, there are actually Muslim religious police that actually beat and actually wound seriously anyone who doesn’t dress according to religious Muslim attire”.
A few hours after Hidalgo’s warning, Fox News vice president Michael Clemente told CNNMoney, “We empathize with the citizens of France as they go through a healing process and return to everyday life. However, we find the mayor’s comments regarding a lawsuit misplaced”. Bill O’Reilly, Fox News’ host, called it ridiculous pointing out that “the mayor is a socialist” and that Fox News isn’t even watched in France”.
Fox News, later however, publicly apologized four times for the ‘mistake’. It called the no-go zone assertion an ‘error’ and apologized to ‘any and all who may have taken offence, including the people of France’.

About time our “news” gets held accountable for their ridiculous lies. Fox is just one of the lying arms of the malignant cabal that is destroying the world.
Lies? Yeah, right. When your own media does stories on the FACT, the French gubmint wants to sue them too.
