Starbucks is the biggest coffee retailer in the world, with a huge responsibility to both the environment and the farmers at the front of its supply chain. But while the multinational has recently taken steps to ensure that 99% of its coffee beans will be ethically sourced, what about the rest of its products?

This video from Sum Of Us highlights the crucial issue that Starbucks is still neglecting: its use of palm oil, which is a major contributor to deforestation (and the extinction of tigers, orangutangs, and other endangered wildlife who rely on the rainforest for their survival). Not only that, but the soya beans and paper used in Starbucks products are another contributing factor to the destruction of these vital habitats. Starbucks is also accused of abusing workers in the developing world.
