Jeremy Kewley, 54, who has appeared in some of Australia’s most popular TV programs like Neighbours, Underbelly, Cop Shop, Patrol Boat, The Sullivans and Janus, was recently charged with 103 counts of indecently assaulting a child under the age of 16, and a further two counts of possessing child pornography.
The child sex offences allegedly occurred in 2011 while the child porn occurred in 2013. He was arrested in August, charged by sexual offence detectives in December and later granted conditional bail by Melbourne Magistrates Court. He is ordered to return to court in March.
The police in its charge sheets alleged that Kewley advertised for boys to appear in screen tests for a movie. Videos found on his computer showed him touching those boys’ groin and buttocks, pushing himself against them, kissing them on the lips and pulling their costumes away. Images of children showing them in an indecent sexual manner were also found on his computer.
Kewley started his acting career in the 1976 film The Devil’s Playground, directed by Fred Schepisi. He has been the ‘warm-up comedian’ for the AFL version of The Footy Show since it began in 1994. He played the lead role of US film producer Jerry Goldman in the 2012 film Frank & Jerry and starred as Roy Rogers in 2014’s The Legend Maker.

AW HELL NAW ! This has already gone far enough . I’m at the point where I want to punch my iPad screen at the next famous person who is commiting more sexual assults on young children and women and men . I’m very pissed off .
