Putin: A YEAR, Obama? ISIS Is Fleeing After We Hit em For Three DAYS. Oh. YOU Were At It For A Year? Too Bad.

The Russians are not known for their grandiose grandstanding or pompous promises; no “mission accomplished” moment was expected from their recent strikes against ISIS even as the mainstream media criticizes them incessantly via social media/ Skype-based/ quoting the “Syrian Observatory of Human Rights” which is really a one-man-show  run in Britain and has no access to any real “insider” information. I digress. 

However, they may have just made a claim that might be too big even for them to fill; did their four days of airstrikes turn the tide against ISIS, a feet which the greatest military in the world that receives several times the funding as the Russians seemed incapable of doing for nearly a year?

All the US has been able to do since their grand ambitions began in Iraq has been to further inflame tensions, and spawn ever-more-brutal incarnations of evil men. Could it be that Russia has undone a menace in four days which the US has spent over a decade “fighting”?

If so, was the US purposefully holding back? Was the well-documented torture programs and endless bombing of civilians, weddings, hospitals run by Doctors Without Borders even and civilian infrastructure etc ACTUALLY designed to purposefully designed to inflame tensions… while striking the terrorists themselves with little more than show-force so it seemed like they were actually doing something?

These questions would be asked in circles beyond the relatively small group of individuals that have seen just how far the US has dallied from its stated intentions (for example, after sowing chaos in Libya and spending next to nothing on protecting the Libyans from terrorists)…

Even Donald Trump gave Russia the thumbs up, stating that ISIS was nearer Russia and that it was a graver threat to Russia than the US. The US should stay out of the matter, according to him.

Trump said President Obama’s decision to back rebels in Syria is risky:

“I spoke to a general who’s very you know much, he said, ‘Mr. Trump, we have no idea who these people are.’ They may be worse than Assad,” he said.

This changing sentiment would certainly account for the vitriol the mainstream media has been hurling at Russia, hoping against all hope to either prevent Russian action or to at least make it look like Russia was bombing civilians all the while… even IF ISIS wanes, Russia will be seen as the evil one. So the question of whether Russia has ended ISIS must be answered before everyone in the mainstream media “forgets” about ISIS…

There’s only sure way of knowing whether ISIS is truly on the run; if their attacks have slowed; if their ranks fall; if their Abrams and Humvees lie abandoned.

The coming days and weeks will be a watershed moment to prove once and for all whether ISIS was eliminated by Russia. Instead of forgetting about ISIS as the mainstream media stops covering them and switches to the “evil Russia” narrative, we must look out for reports of ISIS attacks… or lack of thereof… as signs with which to judge  whether the Russians are indeed correct…

One cannot take the words of the Russians at face value either, for they together with the Americans have a clear reason to lie about this matter if they so chose. IF Russian strikes were directed against ISIS and NOT others, ISIS’s strength would be seen to decline. IF the Russians were capable, why not the Americans? If such observations are made, the mainstream media might attempt to change the narrative again; perhaps, they might claim, it was the FSA was responsible for this change in the wind; just be careful of that.

According to the Russians themselves, their jets had unleashed some 60 strikes against 50 IS targets in just three days. The sudden explosion of activity had been unleashed with barely any warning and would have occurred far too quickly for any terror group to react against, if  they were directed against ISIS; even if evacuation were possible, arms and equipment would have to be abandoned… neutering them.

(It should be noted that Washington’s current “concern” for Russian strikes seemed to have been absent when the Russians asked their American counterparts for feedback on their targets; “The Americans informed us during contacts that there was no one except terrorists in this region,”  said Lieutenant General Andrey Kartapolov, head of the Main Operation Directorate of the General Staff of Russia’s armed forces.)

ISIS’s de facto capital in Raqa was hit according to Yahoo News, which then quoted the Syrian Observatory of Human Rights about 6 claimed civilian deaths in the ISIS capital- a worthless source if any going by the owner’s own words: “I am not a media organization. I work from my home, my private home.”.

Command posts and munitions bunkers were hit according to RT, and the Russians provided video and picture “evidence” of these hits, with notably large explosions apparently showing that some targets might well have been filled with explosive ordinances.

After striking their capital city, hundreds of ISIS’s men have already started to flee according to Russia,-headed for the borders. Funny, after months of American bombing, I’d not heard reports of ISIS fleeing from them…
