Taliban, ISIS Are Anti-Muslims, Not Anti-West

The Pakistan Taliban attacks mosques and hospitals in the name of Allah and for the cause of Islam and Islamic rule. The Pakistan Taliban massacres hundreds of children at a school to turn the country into a citadel of Islam that guarantees human rights and peace. The Pakistan Taliban works in tandem with the Islamic State to enforce Sharia law by bombings, shootings and abductions of civilians.

Who created, supported, and gave the right to these ‘Islamic’ terrorists to ruin a paradise called Pakistan? CIA. The US provided $3 billion for building up these Islamic groups, and it accepted Pakistan’s demand that they should decide how this money should be spent. Today that money and those weapons have helped build up the Taliban.

Selig Harrison, from the Woodrow Wilson International Centre for Scholars, who has had extensive contact with the CIA and political leaders in South Asia, said in 2001 (after the Taliban destroyed 6th-century monumental statues of standing Buddha carved into the side of a cliff in Afghanistan’s Bamyan valley), “The CIA made a historic mistake in encouraging Islamic groups from all over the world to come to Afghanistan. They told me these people were fanatical, and the more fierce they were the more fiercely they would fight the Soviets. I warned them that we were creating a monster. The CIA still has close links with the ISI (Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence). The Taliban are not just recruits from ‘madrassas’ (Muslim theological schools) but are on the payroll of the ISI. The Taliban are now making a living out of terrorism.”

In 2009, Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari also confirmed that the CIA and his country’s ISI together created the Taliban. “I think it was part of your past and our past, and the ISI and CIA created them together,” Zardari told the NBC.

Some academics argue that Al-Qaida and the Taliban were creations of American policy run amok. A pervasive myth exists that the United States was complicit for allegedly training Osama bin Laden and the Taliban.

Terrorism is hardly unusual in Pakistan; at least 3,000 people died in 2013 in violence attributed to Islamist extremists. Ironically, the Pakistan Taliban and ISIS, which credit its motivation and success to religion, are destroying a Muslim country in the name of protecting the religion the citizens practice.
