Fullerton, CA — Hacktivist collective Anonymous reportedly attacked Israeli government websites this week. The attack was part of an Anon operation, #WasBurnedAlive— also part of the larger #OpIsrael— and served as a response to the death of 18-month-old Palestinian Ali Dawabsheh.
Dawabsheh was burned alive when his home was set on fire in an arson attack initiated by suspected extremist Jewish settlers. Dawabsheh’s father— Saad— recently died as a result of his injuries, as well. The remaining two family members— Ali’s mother and brother— were severely injured in the attack.
Israel has released a number of suspected extremists from custody, though apparently none were arrested in direct connection with the attack on the Dawabsheh’s home. Rather, they were temporarily detained for other attacks in the area.
In a separate case, “Israel has put three alleged Jewish militants in a controversial form of detention without trial since the crackdown began after the Duma attack,” as a BBC article notes.
Nonetheless, Anonymous shut down over 50 Israeli websites, including that of the the prime minister’s office and the Israeli army. AnonHQ confirmed the attack to The Anti-Media.
It appears that some of the webpages are still currently unavailable, while others appear to be fully functioning.

Hi there ANONYMOUS ,
I’m 28 M, and I’d like to be part of you/ Member.
So ,How can I?
If you can take anything from Anonymous it’s that you should question everything and form your own point of view. Therefore you should forget about taking sides and defining yourself under someone elses mantra. Otherwise you end up the same automaton but with a different skin fighting someone else’s battles. Not much different.
