It is our economy too, and when big decisions that have big repercussions on the economy are made, all our voices need to be heard. After all, the Fed is supposed to represent the public interest and work for our welfare. The video talks about the lack of transparency in the Fed’s operations and emphasizes a need for reform. The Federal Reserve System is increasingly dominated by big banks and corporations, and regular folks who are struggling in the economy don’t have a say. An economy that works for us all needs to be created. The decisions of the Fed are too important to leave to major corporations and Wall Street.
