Pregnant women who suffered abuse at the hands of the police should take note: It seems that an officer has been sentenced to death for shooting a pregnant woman and her unborn child to death, and injuring her husband. The husband and wife were enjoying their dinner at a restaurant they owned; suddenly the drunken cop came in making demands that could not be met and opened fire on them.
In addition to being sentenced to death, the cop was ordered to pay the equivalent of $12,000, of his own money, as compensation to the victim’s family. That money, again, is coming from the cop’s own pocket, not taxpayers. This is good news, as a people’s court has made the decision to sentence the cop to death for killing the woman and her baby.
Does it shock you that a cop is being punished? And with the death sentence, no less. If so, it’s probably because you live in the United States. In the United States the police are usually found “not guilty” even when they’re caught on video beating innocent Americans to death. They get away with it even when they’re caught on video Tasing handcuffed girls to death.
Moreover, in the United States, when victims are compensated with money for crimes committed by cops, it’s stolen from your salary — the taxpayer — not the cops individually. Yes, YOU are the one punished for their crimes. YOU are funding their murderous rampage. You’re probably asking yourself, why on Earth has this happened? Did Obama suddenly order a useful executive action? Was Bush’s museum torn down, with the UN charging him for war crimes? Sadly, no.
Even if he were punished, do you think he’d receive more than a slap on the wrist?
Make no mistake about it: like any people living under the rule of a government, the Chinese have their own horrors of police brutality, and the Chinese government is also as authoritarian as they come.
However, they seem to respect the wishes of their citizens more… At least in the case of police murders. Ironic.
Check out the video on the incident after it had happened, and the fury of the people as they posted their views online. Perhaps it’s time for our views to be taken more seriously.

This is a lie, the cop did hit the pregnant woman in her abdomen but she and her baby are still alive! She even gave an interview.
