The ‘threat’ that was posted on the anonymous forum, Pastebin, against CNN was a hoax. David Garrett Jr., of Nashville, was the one who made the post and claimed to be one of the Sony hackers (or Guardians of Peace), with a demand that stated, “P.S. You have 24 hours to give us the Wolf.”

The FBI issued a Joint Intelligence Bulletin, taking that post into account, and cautioned CNN and other media organizations that hack assaults could be in progress. Mr. Garrett, who writes about security issues for Examiner.com, revealed himself on Twitter today after news media associations.
He further stated, “that fake Pastebin post is being researched by the FBI.” He composed it for CNN, demanding Wolf, and, “the FBI is really taking it as a threat,” he stated all of this in his tweet. He acknowledged that it was nothing more than a joke and that what should be talked about is that nobody researches anything. Everything is gossipy tidbits. “I had no clue it would be taken seriously,” said Garrett. He further stated that he composed the post to make the point that Pastebin is a questionable source and that anybody can post anything on that site.
