A Miami police officer was stabbed multiple times, after trying to stop a suspect from lighting a gas station on fire. The incident occured in 2013, but footage has just been released by the Miami Police Dept. After watching the newly released evidence video himself, officer Mario Gutierrez says: “What I noticed right away was that 80 percent of that video, I don’t remember.”
Officer Mario Gutierrez was able to shut off the gas pumps and the suspect was shot dead after violently attacking the officer. Gutierrez received a congressional badge of bravery earlier this year.
