With the link between glyphosate and cancer made through formal research, and Monsanto acting like a failed child demanding an apology, what is the future of Monsanto? [1] It doesn’t come as a surprise to most of us that the link has been formally made. It’s what we’ve suspected for years, and argued, but it would also be naïve to expect Monsanto to surrender with their hands in the air.
“We question the quality of the assessment,” said Monsanto’s Phillip Miller. Reuters reported that Monsanto offered evidence to suggest that glyphosate was safe, but was largely ignored by the scientific community that conducted the studies to display the links between cancer and the chemical.
This is where we expect the angry dog to attack its aggressors. Monsanto is renowned for their ability to make the ‘debunking of their products’ disappear. According to Natural Society, a Dr. William Moar let it slip that Monsanto have a department where their primary task is to discredit corporations who give them bad press. The question is will they manage to get away with this one or not?[2]
The following video also gives an interesting insight into the latest Monsanto disorder and if we’re on a crucial turning point.
