New Book Reveals 7,000 Years Ago Hindu Indians Theorized About Airplane and Interplanetary Travel

A book recently made public in India, suggests that the Hindus designed the basis of aviation and interplanetary travel thousands of years before the Wright brothers did.

The West has claimed many inventions to its credit. Aviation today is important among nations. It ensures that we are able to cross continents in just a matter of hours.

According to Western aviation history, the Wright brothers, Orville (August 19, 1871 – January 30, 1948) and Wilbur (April 16, 1867 – May 30, 1912) are credited as the first aviation pioneers to have invented, built and flown the world’s first successful airplane.

It’s important to note that we’re not discrediting the contributions the Wright brothers made to ensure we have a successful aviation system today, nonetheless, recognizing the other side of history, which points to the fact that aviation existed many years before the birth of Jesus Christ, existed. History now tells us that a lot of inventions in our so-called modern world are nothing new; we are essentially witnessing the re-invention of the wheels of the ancient world.

A book recently made public in India, suggests that the Hindus designed the basis of aviation and interplanetary travel thousands of years before the Wright brothers. The book is estimated to be over 7,000 years old.

Work in the book was presented by two authors—Anand Weddings and Ameya Jadhav— during India’s scientific conference, organized by the University of Mumbai under the auspices of the Indian Science Congress. This was the first time that the Indian Science Congress had held a symposium on ancient Indian science viewed through Sanskrit literature.

At the center of the work is Maharshi Bharadwaja. Bharadwaja was one of the greatest Hindu sages in the ancient world. He is said to have attained an extraordinary scholarship, as well as a great power of meditation. His brain was sharp, and none could be compared to him during his time. Bharadwaja is said to have described an aviation system even more advanced than what we currently have.

In total, it is said Bharadwaja made approximately 500 guidelines describing aviation and other technologies, but the current manuscript has only 100 to 120 guidelines. It is believed foreign rulers who invaded India stole many of these guidelines or manuscripts, studying it to produce many of the technologies we see today.

The current revelation backs the Vaimānika Śāstra, an early 20th-century Sanskrit text on aerospace technology which claims that ‘Vimānas’ mentioned in ancient Sanskrit epics were advanced aerodynamic flying vehicles, similar to a rocket capable of interplanetary flight – as backed up by the ancient alien theory.

The texts were revealed in 1952 by G. R. Josye and contain 3000 shlokas in 8 chapters, which Shastry claimed was spiritually delivered to him by the Hindu sage Bharadvaja. The propulsion of the Vimānas, according to Kanjilal (1985), is by “Mercury Vortex Engines,” a concept similar to electric propulsion.

The authors said the aircraft the sage described is capable of traveling between countries, continents and planets. According to the authors, this proves the aviation system in the ancient world was very advanced, more so than what exists today.

Of course, what the authors presented from the manuscript is mindboggling. Many scientists at the conference were marveled. The Vice Chancellor of the University of Mumbai, Rajan Welukar said “there is no reason to believe in what they say about the Vedas, but it is something that is worth studying.”

Earth We Are One reports that there are several studies that have demonstrated that ancient flying machines were not really capable of flight. For example, in 1974, a study by the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore found that the heavier-than-air aircraft that the Vaimānika Śāstra described were aeronautically unfeasible.

But despite this finding, there are still many researchers and scholars who believe that these ancient machines were blueprints of high-tech flying machines. Some of these researchers and scholars encourage aggressive inquiry into ancient books discussing technology.

One researcher, who has been critical of modern scientists and researchers who reject mysterious ancient technology, is Captain Anand J Bodas. Mr Boda was quoted by the Mumbai Mirror as saying modern science should embrace things it does not understand in order to carry out further study on them.

“Modern science is unscientific because it considers things it does not comprehend as not possible. The Vedic or rather ancient Indian definition of an aeroplane was a vehicle which travels through the air from one country to another country, from one continent to another continent, from one planet to another planet. In those days aeroplanes were huge in size, and could move left, right, as well as backwards, unlike modern planes which only fly forward,” Boda, an accomplished pilot, said
