North Korea has demanded an apology from the United States just days before Christmas, with the US still yet to respond.
Accusations flew against North Korea last month for the instigation of threats against Sony if Seth Rogan’s ‘The Interview’ was to be released as scheduled on Christmas Day. The accusations was loosely based in allegation rather than sound investigation with hard evidence, and have been labelled by North Korean officials as “gangster-like behavior.”
In response to North Korea’s proposal to assist the US government in a formal investigation in December, into the Sony hacks, the US National Security Spokesperson suggested they could help more if they admitted their “culpability.”
It has been well documented that in mid-2014 North Korea labelled the US support of The Interview as an “act of war.” [1]

To be fair, if another country were to produce a big-budget film about an attempted assassination on Obama, the US government would probably flag it down as “terrorism” and respond in a… less extreme, but similar fashion.
