While walking across a parking lot Tim Malone, an Oklahoma DJ, stepped on a four-foot-long bull snake and was promptly bitten by the wild reptile. Did he arouse the snake? No, he was too distracted by his Smartphone to have even noticed the attacker. The snake sunk its teeth into Malone’s leg before slithering away. A surveillance camera captured the encounter.
Malone, who helped release the snake back into the wild, told KOCO the reptile was perhaps trying to escape the Oklahoma flood waters. “Adrenaline took over. Then I realized it was a snake, and I started kicking to get it off,” he added.
Malone was not seriously injured by the attack; thankfully the snake was not venomous, else…
