One person has been killed in a shootout, and the leader of an armed militia which occupied an Oregon wildlife refuge has been arrested.
Ammon Bundy and four of his militiamen were arrested during a traffic stop, according to police. One person was injured, while two other activists who were connected to the group, were also arrested in separate incidents.
The militia had occupied the refuge in support of two local ranchers. At this moment, the FBI has surrounded the members of the militia who still remain at the refuge.
Ranchers of Harney County accused the federal government of failing to respect their way of life, but residents have also disagreed with Ammon Bundy’s tactics.
According to the FBI, Mr Bundy was arrested in a traffic stop on Highway 395. His brother, Ryan Bundy; Bryan Cavalier; Shawna Cox and Ryan Walen Payne were also arrested.
The Bundy brothers are the sons of Clive Bundy- he was involved in a stand-off between armed anti-government activists and federal authorities in 2014.
The two activists, who were later arrested on separate occasions, have been identified as Joseph Donald O’Shaughnessy and Peter Santilli.
Those arrested each face a charge of conspiracy to impede officers of the United States from discharging their official duties through the use of force, intimidation or threats in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 372.
The Oregonian newspaper states that Bundy was on his way to a community meeting in John Day, Oregon, when he was stopped by the FBI. He was scheduled to be a guest speaker there.
According to local officials, about 25 miles of Highway 395 was shut after the incident.
The FBI and Oregon State Police have released a joint statement which says that the two had coordinated an “enforcement action to bring into custody a number of individuals associated with the armed occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge. During that arrest, there were shots fired.”
“One individual who was a subject of a federal probable cause arrest is deceased. We will not be releasing any information about that person pending identification by the medical examiner’s office.
“One individual suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. He was arrested and is currently in custody.”
Clive Bundy said he was devastated at the arrests and death.“My sons are good people and they were there to help … It’s a rotten shame that people there are not trying to harm anybody and now they are shooting them dead. We’re not going to put up with this … This is a pretty big deal for America. This is the way they treat people who try to help? We are tired of the abuse.”

Seems that those who make the rules never follow the rules.
Lavoy wore a harness pistol. It is in several images all over the net and in videos, everyone saw it. If the feds wanted him dead, he would have died before he ever got more than 100 yards from the truck. Logic dictates it. You want someone dead you don’t scream at them to stop and get down. He tried to run aND when he couldn’t he reached. Logic also dictates if they wanted him dead, when he nearly ran over another fed, that truck would be full of holes. You could clearly see they wanted to avoid shooting till Lavoy took that choice away. We all know had they not been showing restraint, everyone in that vehicle would be dead. I don’t like big government either, but trying to push for land grabs on public land is bs. And for what? Profit! Do any of you realize that land is the last wetland other than Alaska, that’s it. It is protected for a reason but it’s public so all of us can enjoy in when we like. These people want to cut down trees, create roads over Indian artifacts, and use it for cattle. Cattle is so destructive to land areas. We are destroying trees faster than they can clean the air… I give up. If all of you want is to destroy everything and you can’t see this was another Bundy money grab then I quite. I’ve pointed out for weeks how Bundy used land illegally, they told him to stop, I know no one cares about an endangered desert totortoise but I do. He was asked to stop using that much land becuase it’s their habitat. He refused then used more land when he increased his cattle. Then the Hammonds, illegal poaching, setting fires. They deserved the mandatory sentenceing they should have gotten day one. Then Cliven owes a million. Ammon owes like 750k in federal loans that he isn’t paying. And now how much in tax dollars is this costing all of us who work our asses off and are just making it survivable. I get it everyone needs to hate their “oppressors”, but let’s face it. If you really cared… you would be fighting to stop congress from voting against VA benifits, 911 survivors, women’s rights, our future. You would be fighting for Flint’s water crisis and the lives this is going to cost at the hands of a greedy asshole cutting costs. He doesn’t care how many die and it seems neither do….

I was active years ago during Project Chanology, then drifted away due to Real Life. Someone asked me about recent Anon activity so I started checking up. Its appalling how much Tea Party Conspiracy propaganda has infected Anon culture since then. From what I can gather, this started soon after OWS, another group infected, then over run, by TeaTard loons.
There are still Anon out there doing great work. But a website that claims to be part of Anon, but can’t make a distinction between trufax and extremist woo has lost it’s way. No wonder Scientology is still around.
