The Best Online Source To Play Retro Games For Free – MARIO, POKEMON & CO!

0

The SNES, Genesis, and Playstation were once the pinnacle of gaming. You may remember owning one or more of these systems and playing popular games. You can go back to those memories right now, for free, in your browser.

In addition to finding classic games, numerous websites provide enormous libraries of new games. You can play games on them without downloading an emulator and ROMs, which takes time. It’s easy to find and play the games you wish to play.

My Emulator Online Review

My Emulator Online features a large number of vintage games to play, including titles for the Nintendo 64 and Nintendo DS. All of the games, like the others on this list, use a browser-based emulator, which allows you to connect a controller and save/load your game.

The games on this site run smoothly, with just slight latency as compared to other browser-based emulation sites. There’s also a bigger library here than on most other sites, with a lot of popular Nintendo games. There is no limit to how many games you may play, so make sure you have lots of free time before visiting this site!

My Emulator Online Safe

It is a safe website to use to get emulators and ROMs. Even while emulation is entirely safe in and of itself, it may be prohibited depending on how you go about it and where you reside. On the other hand, some shadier websites may bundle viruses and other malware with downloaded ROM files. Only open one from a credible website to reduce the chance of viruses. SCAMADVISOR recommends this website as safe and legit.

Here are some positive points of this website.

  • This webpage is (very) old.
  • Alexa considers this website to be popular.
  • The SSL certificate is in good standing (source: Xolphin SSL Check).
  • The majority of feedback on this website has been good.
  • Trend Micro has given this website its seal of approval.

It’s not against the law in any way. Game publishers have no method of preventing you from making a ROM or ISO of the game disk or cartridge you possess and then running it in an emulator. Hosting them on websites for others to download is a grey area with no set rules, only the possibility of legal action from Nintendo.

A person who downloads a ROM has never been prosecuted as a result of it. There’s no way cops are going to break down your door for that.

Download games are also not saved in your RAM because that’s not how RAM works. Downloads from the internet are not saved in memory. They are saved in the Downloads folder on your hard disc. Your browser’s history and cookies are also stored there but in the web browser’s installation directory.

Taliban Fighters Who Move To Kabul Are ‘Bored’ & Frustrated By Traffic

According to an in-depth study, Taliban members who left the mountains for desk jobs are struggling to adjust in the capital.

It has been less than 18 months since jubilant Taliban fighters swept back to power and overran Afghanistan’s capital, as Joe Biden withdrew his troops in a world-shaking retreat.

However, the thrill of seizing control of the war-torn country appears to have worn off for wailing militants, with many now missing the battlefield and bored with the 9-5 grind of running the impoverished nation.

After decades of war, the bloodthirsty fighters have spoken of their disdain for office life and are reminiscing about the Taliban’s past and their’restricted’ lives.

The Afghanistan Analysts Network discovered that bloodthirsty Taliban members who swapped the life of war and misery in the mountains for desk jobs were not adapting to the typical civilian lifestyle of office jobs and traffic.

Former soldier Abdul Nafi claimed to miss the war after realizing how day-to-day life works, complaining about spending his life on Twitter instead of roaming the country causing chaos and bloodshed. ‘I sometimes miss the jihad life for all the good things it had,’ said the 25-year-old ex-fighter.

‘There isn’t much work for me to do in our ministry. As a result, I spend the majority of my time on Twitter.

‘We have access to fast Wi-Fi. Many mujahedeen, including myself, have become addicted to the internet, particularly Twitter.’

‘What I dislike about Kabul is its traffic, and what I fear is its thieves,’ he added. After two of our comrades were robbed, I keep my pistol on me at all times.’

Taliban enjoying their life: Eating ice cream.

Despite sadistic militants imposing draconian rules that bar women from education and see people stoned, flogged, and amputated in public on a regular basis, the unconnected militants appear bored with civilisation.

Not ruining the lives of innocent people everyday seems to have hit Taliban commander Omar Mansurhard hard as heartless members now have to work for a wage instead of roaming the country to find their next victim.

The 32-year-old said: ‘We had a great degree of freedom about where to go, where to stay and whether to participate in the war.

‘These days, you have to go to the office before 8am and stay ’til 4pm.

‘If you don’t go, you’re considered absent, and [the wage for] that day is cut from your salary.’

After dropping the life of a soldier Mr Mansur, who was born in North Waziristan and grew up in the remote village of Yahya Kheyl about 150 miles southwest of Kabul,  became a middle-ranking civil servant.

He claims he cannot afford to bring his wife and five children to the capital, because of high property rent.

The ex-commander said: ‘What I don’t like about Kabul is its ever-increasing traffic hold-ups.

‘Last year, it was tolerable but in the past few months, it’s become more and more congested.’

Mr Mansur was not the only killing machine to complain about the dull life of traffic and Twitter as ex-sniper Huzaifa reminisces about the freeing life of war and how bored he is of doing the same job every day.

The 24-year-old said: ‘The Taliban used to be free of restrictions but now we sit in one place, behind a desk and a computer 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

‘Life’s become so wearisome; you do the same things every day.

Like many ‘soldiers’ of the Taliban Huzaifa was brought up in a rural village and had not visited the capital previously.

These Female Condoms With “Teeth” Can Prevent Rape (VIDEO)

0

Dr. Sonnet Ehlers of South Africa was on call one night four decades ago when a distraught rape victim walked in. Her eyes were lifeless; she resembled a living corpse.

“She looked at me and said, ‘If only I had teeth down there,'” Ehlers, a 20-year-old medical researcher at the time, recalled. “I promised her that one day I’d do something to help people like her.”

Rape-aXe was born forty years later.

Ehlers is distributing female condoms in the various South African cities hosting World Cup soccer games.

The latex condom is inserted like a tampon by the woman. According to Ehlers, its inside is lined with jagged rows of teeth-like hooks that attach to a man’s penis during penetration.

Only a doctor can remove it once it has become lodged, which Ehlers hopes will be done with authorities on standby to make an arrest.

“It hurts, and he can’t pee or walk with it on,” she explained. “If he tries to remove it, it will tighten even more… but it does not break the skin, and there is no danger of fluid exposure.”

Ehlers stated that she sold her home and car to fund the project, and that she intended to distribute 30,000 free devices under her supervision during the World Cup.

“I consulted engineers, gynecologists, and psychologists to help with the design and ensure its safety,” she explained.

Following the trial period, they will be available for around $2 per piece. She is hoping that the women will report back to her.

“The ideal situation would be for a woman to wear this on a blind date… or to an area she’s not comfortable with,” she explained.

The mother of two daughters stated that she visited prisons and spoke with convicted rapists to determine whether such a device would have caused them to reconsider their actions.

Some speculated that it would, according to Ehlers.

According to critics, the female condom is not a long-term solution and exposes women to additional violence from men trapped by the device.

It is also a form of “enslavement,” according to Victoria Kajja, a fellow for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Uganda, an east African country. “The victim’s fears, the act of wearing the condom in anticipation of being assaulted, all represent enslavement to which no woman should be subjected.”

According to Kajja, the device constantly reminds women of their vulnerability.

“It not only gives the victim a false sense of security, but it also causes psychological trauma,” she added. “It also does not help with the psychological issues that arise as a result of assaults.”

Its one advantage, she claims, is that it allows justice to be served.

Human Rights Watch and Care International, two South African rights organizations, declined to comment.

According to Human Rights Watch, South Africa has one of the highest rape rates in the world. According to Human Rights Watch, a 2009 report by the nation’s Medical Research Council found that 28 percent of men surveyed had raped a woman or girl, with one in every 20 saying they had raped in the previous year.

Rape convictions are uncommon in most African countries. Affected women do not have immediate access to medical care, and DNA tests to provide evidence are prohibitively expensive.

“Women and girls who are victims of these violations are denied justice, contributing to the normalization of rape and violence in South African society,” Human Rights Watch says.

Women in South Africa take drastic measures to avoid rape, according to Ehlers, with some wearing extra tight biker shorts and others inserting razor blades wrapped in sponges in their private parts.

Critics have accused her of inventing a medieval rape deterrent.

“My device is medieval, but it’s for a medieval deed that’s been around for decades,” she explained. “I believe something must be done… and this will cause some men to reconsider assaulting a woman.”

Spongebob Promotes ‘violent and racist’ Colonialism, Professor Claims

0

SpongeBob SquarePants, a children’s cartoon, has been accused of normalizing “violent” and “racist” colonization of indigenous lands.

The popular show, which celebrated its 20th anniversary this year, was slammed in a report by University of Washington Professor Holly M Barker.

Yeah, even Spongebob and Patrick are shocked about that statement.

“SpongeBob SquarePants and his friends contribute to the normalization of settler colonial takings of indigenous lands while erasing the ancestral Bikinian people from their nonfictional homeland,” she wrote.

The popular Nickelodeon show follows the life of the lovable sea sponge, who lives in a pineapple under the sea, as he goes about his business in Bikini Bottom.

Professor Barker believes the underwater city is a reference to the real-life Bikini Atoll in the Pacific Ocean’s Marshall Islands.

During the Cold War, natives were relocated from the atoll so that the US military could conduct nuclear tests there.

This has given rise to fan theories that the cartoon inhabitants of Bikini Bottom are genetically modified as a result of the testing.

Professor Barker claims that the cartoon is guilty of “whitewashing of violent American military activities” in her report, Unsettling SpongeBob And The Legacies Of Violence On Bikini Bottom.

“SpongeBob’s presence on Bikini Bottom continues the violent and racist expulsion of indigenous peoples from their lands (and in this case their cosmos) that enables US hegemonic powers to extend their military and colonial interests in the postwar era,” the professor continues in the article, which Fox News has seen in full.

Professor Barker also accuses the show of cultural appropriation of indigenous Pacific people, citing the fact that some characters wear Hawaiian shirts and live in homes shaped like pineapples and Easter Island heads.

The academic acknowledges that the writers likely didn’t have colonisation in mind when creating the series, but added she was upset by the lack of acknowledgement that “Bikini Bottom and Bikini Atoll were not [the writers’] for the taking”.

SpongeBob SquarePants may cause children to “become culturally acculturated to an ideology that includes the US character SpongeBob residing on another people’s homeland,” according to Professor Barker.

“We should be uncomfortable with a hamburger-loving American community’s occupation of Bikini’s lagoon and the ways in which it erodes every aspect of sovereignty,” the article concludes.

The report was published in a journal called The Contemporary Pacific: A Journal Of Island Affairs, and is designed to publish pieces on “social, economic, political, ecological and cultural topics”.
