Filming Cops has reported that an off-duty ‘road rage’ cop pulled a gun on elderly couple, smashing his gun on the face of the man, shattering his teeth. The man is also said to have suffered a broken nose in addition to losing his teeth.
The incident is said to have happened in St. Louis, Missouri on Mother’s Day this year near the Jefferson Barracks. The couple, Donald and Janet Akers, were said to be on their way to place flowers on Janet’s mother’s grave on that special day, when the unfortunate incident happened.
According to Local Reports, as they exited I-255 at Telegraph Road, Janet Akers who was driving, honked her horn when a big black Dodge began veering into her lane, dangerously. She was afraid that it might smash into her car, causing an accident. The driver of the Dodge allegedly got offended by the honk, which was supposed to alert him of his reckless driving, and pulled up next to them when they pulled over and proceeded to confront the couple.
“[I honked] To let him know, ‘hey, you’re coming over to hit us,’ and then he backed down, got behind us and honked and honked and honked, all the way through the intersection,” Janet said.
Janet said because of the harassment and honking, she pulled her car to the side of the road and that was when the man got out of his car armed with a gun and approached the couple demanding to know why they honked at him.
Donald said he tried to explain to the officers why his wife honked but the officer had none of his explanation and started a brutal attack on him.
“He held the gun first… I didn’t know if he was going to shoot us or what. Instead, he hit me right across the nose with it. It broke my nose, my sinus cavities and broke my teeth,” Donald said.
Janet tried to defend her husband and, with the help of some bystanders in the area, they broke up the fight. She then called 911, and took some photos to document the scene.
It was only when the police arrived that the couple realized that the ‘road rage’ man was an off-duty cop. Janet said, “So the police came, they went over directly to him and were talking to him, laughing and joking around. We feel like they knew him right off the bat.” Donald said the officers later told them that their attacker was an off-duty officer and even refused to attend to Donald with medical care.
“Officers told us he was an off-duty police officer. That’s exactly what they told us. They never searched that guy’s truck. He had the gun,” Donald added.
For Janet, the incident is still haunting her. She said sadly, “I’m scared. I thought they were going to shoot my husband, and I was really scared for that.”
Meanwhile, according to the St. Louis County Police, the incident is under investigation and a counselor will determine whether charges will be filed against the officer involved or not, when he is finally identified by investigators.

The off-duty cop, as well as the bad cops who responded, all need to be fired, tried, and jailed for abuse of power. Then THE PEOPLE need to drag their worthless carcasses into the street and dispatched immediately. Same goes for ALL cops who betray their public trust.
