Russia is preparing to test-fire a nuclear weapon which is so powerful it could reportedly destroy a whole country in seconds.
The “Satan 2” missile is rumored to be the most powerful ever designed and is equipped with stealth technology to help it dodge enemy radar systems .
This terrifying doomsday weapon is likely to strike fear into the hearts of Western military chiefs, as current missile defence technology is totally incapable of stopping it.
Its official name is the RS-28 Sarmat and it will replace aging Soviet R-36M missiles, which NATO military experts nicknamed “Satan”.
“In this sense, the Sarmat missile will not only become the R-36M’s successor, but also to some extent it will determine in which direction nuclear deterrence in the world will develop,” the Russian news network Zvezda reported .

The missile is expected to be capable of delivering up to a dozen warheads, allowing to effectively destroy an area the “size of Texas or France”, the broadcaster continued.
It is expected to have a range of 10,000 km, allowing Moscow to attack European cities including London as well as major cities on America’s west and east coasts.

A few commments:
The RS-28 is replacing the SS-18 Satan. It is an ICBM.
The topic is the missile, not the bombs., The missile itself is not stealth, nor can it explode itself.
It has multiple re-entry vehicles (MIRVs), each one has a bomb. Russia is limited to 3MIRVs based on the current SALT agreements, so it can not destroy Texas or France, unless you count fallout coverage as destruction.
The MIRVs will be stealth, not the missile.
Russia will not be “nuclear testing” this missile, but doing test launches of the missile itself, eventually with dummy warheads, but they will never test this missile with actual warheads.
It is illegal to do airburst testing of a nuclear bomb anywhere in the world due to a test ban treaty.
They will test 100% in space, far away from earth orbit…
Exploding Nukes in space is also banned by treaty.

massive Fallout WAS a huge problem in the early bomb-designs. The 5th generation bombs produce only minimal fallout due to “optimized” usage of nuclear material. Not if we’re in the age of pure fusion.. and as evidenced by the spire collapse that took place on 9/11, along with the molten molybdenum documented by the USGS, along with the fact that no significant levels of radioactive fallout were evidenced.. there’s more than a good probability that the reason it was called “ground zero” was due to the fact that it was the first time a pure fusion based nuclear device was used in an act of war.

This is a problem with EVERYONE. We have had the ability to build a doomsday device… underground… with uranium and thorium and so on for the heavy side and deuterium and tritium on the light side all from filtering water from say the ocean. Haven’t you seen Dr Strangelove from some 50 years ago? Look it up. There is an article a paper that basically said the movie was right. We are all wasting our time. If we would build a doomsday device with a fraction of the bombs they put on missiles.
