The mosques in the center of Sanaa were used primarily by the Houthi group, which support former President Ali Abdullah Saleh and which earlier this year seized power in Yemen forcing President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi to escape to Aden, south of the country. Among those killed was a prominent Houthi cleric al-Murtada bin Zayd al-Mahatwari, the imam of the Badr mosque.
A day before Friday’s attacks, intense gun battles in Aden between troops loyal to Yemen’s former and current president left 13 dead. There were reports that security forces loyal to Saleh surrendered to Al-Qaida later.
The only thing I find surprising about this sadly is I’m surprised Isis waited this long.I have friends in South Yemen ..I still call it this as most there do ..and with al- Queda there too I believe we will see much more of this .I don’t know how they didn’t see this coming..I sure did with the Houthis taking over .The North will never Rule the South ..
Not Muslims. Sunni and Shias have had differences before but they have never targeted mosques. This kind of terrorism started when the USA entered Iraq. USA and Israel have always made mosques targets. In Pakistan frontier province and in Afghanistan the US always target mosques with their terrorist drone crafts. Now that they have an army of so called Muslims and pseudo Muslims mercenaries who fight in the name of Islam, the the CIA and Mossad have crossed all barriers of barbarism.

The sunnis in general and the people of Saudi arabia dont have anything against the people of yemen or the houthis, even though Zionist arabic language channels have been trying for years to furment they failed. So they stepped it up, like in Iraq just after saddam fell. Destroy a mosque and blame it on sunnis then destroy another and announce that it was a shia revenge for the eirlier Sunni attack that had to kill a lot of people including kids and women to get one group to hate the other and then it exploded and life has never been the ssame for Iraq after that.

I regret the innocent lives lost in this cowardly attack and I regret the innocents that will die to pay for this attack. Because the real criminals never pay for it. The real criminals can bandy around huge black flags and drive in long convoys but the US pilots never see them and when they do see them they always miss and instead kill some innocents standing or living nearby.
How long can we be fooled by this. By not attacking Israel or even threatening it in any way, ZISIS has revealed its true ugly face. A brutal blood thirsty Zionist terrorist wolf in Muslim sheep’s clothing. Though no one is fooled. Sheep not eat meat and Muslims don’t bomb mosques. I know you see that all day on TV but those are not Muslims. Just because they tie a black band on their head and carry a black flag and chant the Takbir doesn’t make them Muslims.
For one, Even the most unreligious of all Muslims, be they Shia or Sunni, have hearts bleeding for Palestine and the suffering of its people under the brutal Israeli occupation. But not ZISIS.
Israelis call them the good terrorists. Just like Manahen Begin. the urgun terrorist who went on to become an Israeli head of state and who won a noble ‘peace’ prize, will the Zios terrorists running the ZISIS also be nominated for noble prizes.
I for one will not be surprised. Nor will I be surprised if they are made into action heroes in Hollywood nor if some of them come out and confess that they were not real Muslims but took identities for covert action- Expect lots of Laurence style movies and books in the near future.
