On June 26, 2015, the United States became the 21st country to legalize same-sex marriage. While the US Supreme Court ruled that the denial of marriage licenses and recognition to same-sex couples violates the Due Process and the Equal Protection clauses of the Fourteenth Amendment of the United States Constitution, we saw many knee-jerk reactions from Americans on the judgement.
THIS is liberal fascist evil at work. As abhorrent as it gets. Christians beware. #WakeUpAmerica #LGBT #SCOTUS https://t.co/Hkf1jMgtBs

next we will get rid of religions!!!! i can only hope!
They already did if they legalized gay marriage it is against my religion that it is right. America was once under god but now they can change their pledge to “one nation under the government.” Fuck america inequality, racism, unjustice, and no one does anything about it.
If you know your history under God was added in the 50’s to combat communism and was not in the original pledge of allegiance
If you were a real Christian and knew your bible you also wouldn’t judge others nor would you swear. I don’t think I’ve ever heard my minister say don’t allow gay marriage, fuck those guys.
You’re a shame
Ok, first of all, the Bible says to not take the Lord’s name in vain. Second of all, who are you to judge if someone is a “real christian” or not?
If you believe and fight for something you’re already a member of a religion, show some fucking respect, just because people think different from you, that doesn’t mean you can tear away their ideologies, beliefs and freedoms.
You say that, “show some respect” but what about the equality marriage couples that are suing Christian business for not providing services? What about NOT tearing away THEIR ideologies, beliefs and freedoms. An Oregon couple got sued for 135000 for emotional damage because they would not bake same sex wedding cake.. had to close their small family business because they believe differently. Now why couldn’t this couple go to a bakery that was on the same page with them? Why sue out of spite? Why shut down the business? You say all you want is freedom to love who you want, but we will see jut how this goes down in the close future….
I’m totally supportive of LGBT couples and marriages, not so much supportive of Gay Pride parades. While I can understand that these are a celebration of their life being accepted now, I feel that it creates an us and them mentality, LGBT against Heterosexuals. I personally feel that the LGBT community needs to an in an S (for straight) or H (for hetero) into the LGBT in order not to create the divide and to help promote that we are the same, without that anti-gays are going to gain further strength from those who are unsure how to react.
Correlation is not causation. I’m not against affording people their rights as individuals, but to say that “such and such country has gay marriage = other variable” is not necessarily correct.
I think you’re missing the point. The article isn’t trying to imply that legal gay marriage is the cause of the good things in those countries. It’s just a rebuttal to all the conservative paranoia and fear-mongering claiming that the ruling is going to lead to the rapid decline of our country. Obviously gay marriage does not cause anarchy and hell on Earth in the countries where it’s already been legal for years. This just proves who completely unfounded and ridiculous the uberconservative arguments are.
The article is not stating that gay marriage = v. It is stating quite the opposite: gay marriage is not going to bring gloom and doom, and then listing the countries that are doing well in spite of allowing gay marriage. It doesn’t mean that they are doing well because they allow it.
I heard in Victoria BC they are getting rainbow sidewalks downtown to support it!
I really don’t get why people are compared to plugs…
Glad I’m not the only one who thinks this way. My thought is exact. When my eyes landed on that picture my first impression was “what in the world?” Its quite dumb. But I guess its their freedom to express themselves as they wish…. Even if they’re comparing humans to plugs…. *siggghhh* humanity.
i really love the usa but this is one should be denied by all…. what will happen to the humanity if everybody got married to the same sex?
But that’s just the thing with gay marriage. Gay people only make up a small percentage of the population so it won’t have an effect at all on human population. Also, these gay people would not have married women so what’s your point?
My first question is. Do you think everyone in the world is gay? Are you that fucking stupid?? Since a nation legalized same-sex marriage doesn’t mean everyone in the nation turns gay… Grow up.. That’s all I have to say. Just grow the fuck up….
Jim, just like the right to marriage, everyone has the right to believe in a religion if they want to. You just saying you good to get rid of them is just xenophobic.
I dont think this same sex marriages are natural.
Its just not biologically appropriate…
Who ever choose to be gay is their own choice.
This is not the natural way. God does not meant this for us to do if not God just look at the biology. A species cannot do this to itself. Its just very irregular.
“Choose”? You don’t “choose” to be gay, you’re either born gay or not. There is no “choosing”.
We can all choose what we want to be, nobody is born gay, however some people can be born with mental or emotional disabilities and should be treated.
@Jim – this is exactly why religious people don’t want gay marriage. You start with the little things like this and then go on to have witch trials against other people’s beliefs. You’re a fascist – nothing less. You say shit like that and then you dare say that its religion that holds people back.
It doesn’t work in the past, it might be okay in the present, and it might have an unforeseeable consequences in the future. It’s working because the amount of people who are an homosexual is in the minority. But when homosexuality is growing to an unprecedented amount there will be issues of domestic inequality, under-aged sexual activities, moral depravity, decreasing population, complete destruction of economy and finance. Many those countries that have a successful outcome of same sex marriage is because they’re small, minor like Portugal, Iceland, Netherlands, Sweden, Argentina, Spain, Norway compare to the United States of America.
What has this world come to, people being hypocrits, cheering for gay people. Yea lets all turn gay so that our existence of this world will get wiped out. Yea let’s say that being gay isn’t a sickness. Ofcourse it isn’t its not like, pff human nature is to breed!?? No that would be sick, man and a woman that is soo old school. No lets encourage people fucking eachother in their asses and with that increasing the chance of aids! Because thats such a good thing! Let out childeren grow up in a world where being gay is normal. Let our kids be gay! Yea i definately want my kid later to be banged in the ass and lying in bed with other men…. just listen to yourselfs. I am hoping for a righteous world. But even anonymous is being brainwashed by the illuminati… You are all weak and won’t survive their ordeal.
the ordeal of the illuminati* Let’s face it, if your going to be this stupid. Your toast
its people like you that ruin this world. gays are gays no matter what, legalizing Gay marriage doesn’t make everyone Gay, just gives those who are the rights they deserve. whenever the illuminati decides to take over this world, i bet you will live through it because your a perfect sheep that they want to control.
Why is everyone talking about those sick fucks all the time ? They are super minority and super fucked up and who gives a shit about them ? They will be rotten like crap, leaving nothing behind them and thats it. They don’t reproduce, they don’t create life, therefor, they will vanish from this planet leaving no traces at all.
In terms of you posting this shit about happy countries, don’t be retarded. If you come to Scandinavia you will notice its one of the most depressing countries in the world with the highest divorce rate in the world and highest rape rate. People here are fucked up in the head, everyone is anti depressive and feminism has fucked up the country more then a plague would.
