The bald eagle is the official National Emblem of the United States. What’s more American than a bald eagle named Uncle Sam?
Time Magazine did a cover-story on Trump, and a picture of him getting along with the American icon would have been icing on the cake. Trump got more than he bargained for though.
During the shoot, the eagle lunged at his hair a few times- probably mistaking it for worms, or perhaps its missing nest.
When he jokingly reached for a bottle of aspirin next to Uncle Sam, the eagle lunged at him again- causing him to recoil with shock. “What you will do for a cover – this bird is seriously dangerous but beautiful,” he said after the attack.
Ironic, or a forewarning from Uncle Sam himself?
