Aiding the enemy: 6 Americans Shipped Military Gear to ISIS

In yet another bizarre case of American stuff ending up in the hands of ISIS (from the wrongly directed airdrop to the Iraqis who had apparently decided that fleeing in a bunch Humvees would have been slower than leaving them behind), six American residents were indicted on terrorism charges for sending US military uniforms and combat gear to ISIS, according to federal prosecutors.

Ramiz Zijad Hodzic,40, his wife Sedina Unkic Hodzic, 35 and Armin Harcevic, 37 are from St. Louis County Misouri.  The rest are Nihad Rosic, 26, of Utica, New York; Mediha Medy Salkicevic, 34, of Schiller Park, Illinois; and Jasminka Ramic, 42, of Rockford, Illinois.

The group is accused of sending firearms, money, accessories, camouflage uniforms, rifle scopes and military boots to aid fellow Bosnian native Ramo Pazara who had joined ISIS in Syria in May of 2013. The six are either naturalized citizens or have refugee or legal resident status.

Five of the group have been arrested, with one currently overseas. They had declined to confirm which of the six was still on the run.

This case underscores the clear need for continued vigilance in rooting out those who seek to join or aid terrorist groups that threaten our national security,” FBI Special Agent in Charge William Woods said in a statement.

    • So killing people who kill or aid in the killing of people to show that killing people is wrong is supposed to make it right? U r just plain stupid. Yes they may be punishable but we are all killing ourselfs for the profit of the few who instigate wars.

      • They aren’t “us” if they outright betray us. The only reason these fuckers aren’t zapped is because of cases where those killed by capital punishment turned out to be innocent. Not because of some elementary school “two wrongs don’t make a right” bullshit that has to do with bullying. This is a war, if you aid the enemy you are one of them and the same punishment is bestowed on you that would be bestowed on any enemy of the country that is found un armed.

  1. Honestly when I first heard the “mistaken airdrop” excuse I thought “Oh okay well as long as it doesn’t happen again.” But then it happened again, and I thought “Okay well I guess it is kind of hard for them to give it to the iraqi troops” and then it happened again and honestly if you “accidentally” give the enemy supplies MULTIPLE times, you would imagine that you would take more precautions. As much as I don’t want to believe it, this is definitely starting to look as if it’s not an accident.

  2. You know pawn shops and army navy surplus stores have that stuff too and some sell it on line and ship to anyone and it can be shipped to a US address that drop ships to a foreign address no questions asked or content issues.
I have seen bullet proof vests even being sold . What prevents that from getting into the wrong hands!? So if you want Military gear or uniforms or items it is very easy to get. Besides that older uniforms are no longer in use bu US Military
