Karma: Reckless Police Officer Responsible For The Near Death Of A Toddler, Shot By His Own Colleague

They say what goes around comes around, and what you do on this planet will surely gather and come back to you in a nice parcel. Therefore, if what you did was good, you will enjoy your fruits. But if what you did was wrong, you are doomed because you still have to face it.

Some time ago, in Habersham County, Georgia, Officer Joey Terrell authorized the operation “No Knock Road,” that maimed and nearly killed a young toddler. Terrell was said to have thrown a flashbang grenade inside a residence that the police were raiding for a suspected drug dealer, without even bothering to check who is in the house. Unfortunately, the grenade caught the young toddler.

The toddler received severe injuries to the face due to the intense nature of the grenade and medics said it was a miracle that he survived the incident.

Thereafter, Terrell was pictured laughing as he recalled the ugly incident that nearly took the life of the poor toddler. He also broke a promise to pay the family’s medical bills when he left them to take care of it on their own.

This was an ugly incident, and because the police are above the law in the United States, nothing happened to Terrell. He was not even officially questioned or investigated about the incident.

Now, it looks like karma has caught up with Terrell… his cup is now full. Terrell and one of his deputies were shot and injured while responding to a domestic violence complaint that involved another officer, just like the incident that nearly took the life of the toddler. Although Terrell is still alive, it will serve as a great lesson for him.

According to one account of the story, Officer Terrell and his Deputy, William Zigan, were dispatched to a domestic disturbance that involved a former Gainesville police officer, Anthony Giaquinta. Giaquinta had been fired from his job at the Gainesville Police Department but, as usual, the police never explained why he was fired.

When Terrell and William arrived at the scene, they found Giaquinta’s ex-wife dead in the garage of their small home. Sensing danger, the two decided to be extra careful but that did not save them from Giaquinta’s diabolical plan. Giaquinta was able to shoot both Terrell and William and flee the scene.

Terrell was slightly injured but William was very badly injured, as he was hit by many bullets fired by Giaquinta.

Reinforcements were called in and a large search began but ended just before midnight. The search team discovered the bodies of two men, including that of Anthony Giaquinta. Giaquinta had killed his ex-wife, another man and injured Terrell and William badly before killing himself.

The Georgia State Patrol confirmed the incident in a statement, saying, “As EMS and law enforcement arrived, he started shooting at Habersham County Sheriff’s deputies. Two have been wounded. At this point, it doesn’t appear to be too serious.”

According to witnesses, the police are now playing a ‘hide and seek’ game with the public. Those who witnessed the incident said that the injured officers were Terrell and William and that is echoed even in media reports, but it is really shocking that the police will not officially reveal the identities of the injured, only stating that, “two have been wounded.” That is a vague statement. The public has the right to know those injured. After all, isn’t the public who pays their salaries and maintains them?

Activists say that because the police know what Terrell had done in the area, they are not ready to reveal his identity, as public opinion against him is so bad.

  1. It’s not useless, it shows how untrustworthy some cops can be, which is proof enough for me to not trust any cops.

  2. It’s horrific, if anyone injured my son like that, I’d be more than willing to go r to jail to settle the score

  3. Uh…Terrell wasn’t the one that threw the flash grenade. This is according to the official court documents. According to the law suit, an officer Charles Long was responsible. Secondly, if you watch the video Terrell is laughing because he’s nervous and doesn’t know how to answer the question. Sure, the raid was a terrible idea. The warrant was served for $50 in meth on one individual in a house with several law abiding citizens and small children. How that intel didn’t make it to the Habersham County Sheriff’s department makes the whole thing smell like incompetence. Much like this piece of shit article where the author didn’t bother trying to find out the facts.
