Long Beach, Ca. A 23-year-old cyclist, Noel Aguilar, was shot and killed in 2014, with the two cops at the scene claiming that he was armed. They further claimed that they had shot him after he had attempted to grab one of their guns. However, footage that shows what really happened, was anonymously sent to the attorney’s office of the Arguilar’s family in December.
It shows the two officers executing Aguilar, shooting him several times as he lay face-down on the ground with his hands cuffed behind his back.
The officers stopped Aguilar for wearing headphones while biking, and when he refused to stop, the officers ran him down and threw him to the ground.
“Is it a gun?” deputy Albert Murade asks his partner Jose Ruiz as the video begins. “It’s a gun, it’s a gun,” Ruiz responds. “You fucking move, I’m going to kill you, bitch.”
It’s unclear if Aguilar was really armed, though if he was, he had been disarmed.
While on the ground, Aguilar attempts to escape, causing Ruiz to fire blindly into his partner’s stomach. Ruiz does not admit that he fired the shot. At around 1 min 40 secs into the video, the wounded officer Murade, pulls out a firearm from his holster and drops it next to the suspect. This might have been the gun that Aguilar had. At 1:53, Ruiz fires at the suspect as he lays on the ground. Marude then, assuming that Aguilar was the one who had shot him, decides to unload another three bullets into the cyclist for good measure.
The cops continue straddling Aguilar, despite the fact that he has already been shot four times.
The mainstream media was quick to report the official police statement, and without the video, there would have been no proof that any crime at all had been committed by the officers. Before the advent of camera phones, who knows how many such cases were successfully covered up by law enforcement officials.
“The first shot is not justified because the victim is very vulnerable. He’s on his side,” said an attorney representing Aguilar’s family, Angel Carrazco. “The other three shots from the back, every single one of those is unjustified. For me, it seems like it’s murder.”

they should also be checking the stria on the bullet that struck the officer to see if it came from the barrel of the other officers gun…
While I agree that it appears he was executed, since they shot him while he had both hands handcuffed behind his back, in this climate it is stupid and apparently it can be suicidal to wrestle with cops avoiding a ticket or arrest.
