Soros: Russia Bigger Threat to Europe than ISIS

George Soros is well-known for his orchestration of color revolutions via his foundations, and the manipulation of  politicians (such as Hillary Clinton) through campaign funding. It’s not often that he actually attempts to directly influence the average person though.

In a piece published in The Guardian, Soros argues that Russia is destroying the EU by bombing Syria. It is apparently purposely creating thousands of refugees who will flood into Europe, destroying it. It’s no wonder he doesn’t write opinion pieces more often.

One should note that the rate of refugees arriving in Europe increased to 2,000 per day, in July of last year. The rate increased well before the Russians began bombing; and  citizens the rate since July has remained the same since the Russian campaign began.

Regardless of one’s opinion towards the refugees, they are a divisive issue that politicians can use to turn left-leaning citizens against right-leaning ones. One should also understand that this is the same billionaire who advocated that Europe should accept at least a million refugees a year. Even if we accept his premise, did Russia somehow strong-arm him into promoting what he describes as the destruction of Europe? The EU also has its own ability to determine how many refugees its members would accept – unless of course they too were part of this grand conspiracy to disassemble themselves.

Soros also claims that Russia’s involvement in Syria was a strategic blunder which brought it into conflict with Turkey, and that Putin seized upon the refugee crisis when he saw the opportunity… as quickly as a Soros seizing upon a… refugee crisis?

Putin’s talk of cooperation against ISIS is an elaborate ruse to trick the West, it seems. Though so far, NATO and Russia do not seem to be cooperating very much at all.

Soros argues that Russia and Europe are engaged in a “race against time”, trying not to be the first nation to collapse. Soros also claims that Russia will be bankrupt by 2017, due to the low oil price and EU sanctions. Russia’s budget deficit is 7%, and its social security fund will soon run out – this would lead to collapse.

Soros also advocates that Russia is attempting to avoid this scenario by first causing the EU to collapse. A collapsed EU would somehow be unable to enforce sanctions, because European countries would no longer be a united force against the terrifying abomination called Russia.

Soros seems to be a bit spiteful, perhaps because of how Russia had unceremoniously kicked his foundations out. He goes on to state that refugees flooding uncontrollably into Europe will be the EU’s demise, all done at the behest of Russia. Jihadi terrorists – the whole reason Europe, Russia and the United States are all bombing that small sliver of land – are the least of Europe’s concerns. Instead, Russia should be the primary threat, which of course means it has to be the first to be extinguished. This may be the reason perhaps why he said in a recent interview with German magazine WirtschaftsWoche that “You could almost say that by shooting down a Russian fighter jet, Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan did Obama a favor.”
