Tear gas and rubber bullets were fired at more than 25,000 peaceful and unarmed protesters who were marching on the prime minister’s house late Saturday. They attempted to remove barricades around it with cranes, an AFP reporter at the scene said.
The protesters had been camped in front of the parliament house since August 15 and were demanding Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to quit, claiming the election which put him to power last year was rigged.
Several reports suggest that hundreds of protestors were injured and several were killed by the Police firing.
Anonymous affiliated twitter Account @AnonymousGlobo Attacked several Pakistani Government websites after the incident broke up. Official Government websites of Pakistan Meteorological Department, Website of Government of Punjab, Government websites for Army Recruitment and several other were brought down.

Real steel bullets were used, the govt. is hiding the real facts. 20 people had already died and many more are in critical condition. People with bullets inside their bodies were forcefully sent home by the govt. to show the media that no casualties have occured.

It is revolt of the middle class against the nexus of big business and government. People are sick of seeing democracy as the facade for monarchy, croynism and familial oligarchy. The present prime minister, has been elected by a very dodgy election, has installed his family members at key positions and is mentally seeing himself as the democratic king of Pakistan.
But from what I see, the bad guys have got very very long and well dug paws and like everywhere else in the world, the victory of ordinary citizen is far too remote. Evil is indeed much stronger .
