If you’ve ever contemplated the hypocrisy of society, it’s more than likely you’ve gone a little bit mad at one point or another.
After all, it’s mind-numbing to consider that while conundrums like world hunger and dirty energy can be resolved within our lifetimes, the majority of the populace is tuned into reality TV shows like Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and are apathetic to the issues.
At the end of the day, when one takes a good, hard look at the world, they are likely to be more depressed than impressed with humanity’s course. Of course, there are good people on this planet doing what they can to improve Earth for others and future generations, but a large majority of the population still needs to wake up and take responsibility for their actions.
The disdain regarding society’s ignorance is what a young, anti-social computer programmer expresses in the clip below. The man, who works as a cyber-security engineer during the day and a hacker at night on the TV series Mr. Robot, is asked what bothers him most about society. His response is likely to blow you away!
The interviewer asks: “What is it about society that disappoints you so much?”
He replies:
“Oh I don’t know … Is it that we collectively thought Steve Jobs was a great man, even when we knew he made billions off the backs of children? Or maybe it’s that it feels like all our heroes are counterfeit? The world itself just one big hoax, spamming each other with our burning commentary bullshit, masquerading this insight; our social media faking this intimacy. Or is it that we voted for this? Not with our rigged elections, but with our things, our property, our money. I’m not saying anything new, we all know why we do this, not because Hunger Games books makes us happy, but because we want to be sedated. Because it’s painful not to pretend, because we’re cowards. F*ck society.”

I agree completely. Most people don’t want to see, reality tv is as real as they want. We’re mentally lazy, and sedated, tv, gmo food, toxic waters don’t get a reaction,,,,but god forbid real housewives of wherever gets interrupted and it’d be peasants with pitchforks in the streets.

The next generation just sucked up all the Thatcherite, Reaganite greed that was going. Revolution and protest is the rightful prerogative of this generation. There is no other way. I see people commenting like this everywhere! Why don’t we know who of our locals feel the same way? We all need to start talking to each other. I take a chance and say something a little controversial just to see who I’m sharing the oxygen with. Sometimes I get evasiveness and they walk away, but sometimes I find a kindred spirit, immediately we exchange phone numbers,because I know the day will come when there will be enough of us to start that elusive revolution.

Because of the general desecration of the truth, the lack of real relationship between people (people training their kids up in distraction, like themselves instead of engaging each other in the relational tasks of resolving their own and other peoples problems) they have lost any real value to words and truth itself. We live life vicariously through an over abundance of facts and ideas without real engagement.
We can be told about everything hypocritical, horrible and tragic that is going on in the world but our lack of any real relationship with it makes us helpless to really care about it.
God has given us up to our selfish requirements of personal safety and comfort which we have gained at the expense of our ability to care about anyone but ourselves, along with any real sense of vitality or life.
This is judgment on us. The chickens coming home to roost.

Your religion may forbid suicide but it’s all arbitrary rules twisted over millennia, poisoned by the powerful, shaped to fit their wants and needs. Backed up with some fairy tales, terrify the masses with some threats of eternal damnation etc. Oh yeah then declare that no one may test , confirm or debunk religion because you know, commuting yourself to something for eternity is best done with no research at all.
Why would any kind of god give a flying fuck about whether you commit suicide or not? Really? All those people who are just blaming the symptoms of there own behavior instead of blaming the root, which is buying all the stuff, the advertisement (etc.) clames to be the persuit of life. Even my mother said: “Our family has to reduce their waterconsumpotion”, while there are packets of shoes and clothing are incoming everyday. And also it was just in purpose of saving money. I can really understand it, when you see your money, made by hard work, is running through your hands like water. But it is just a mean way of thinking most people have. Nobody wants to leave hies comfort for a better world.
But thats the hardest part of creating a beter world: Change of behavior and thinking which other people have.
