Buzz  the Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Glenn The Jack Russell are now totally inseparable and despite both being abandoned, they both stayed together throughout. They were rescued from a sea tunnel in Hartlepool a few weeks ago and are now in Coxhoe, Count Durham, at the Stray Aid Rescue Centre.Buzz and Glenn, two abandoned dogs who were rescued from a sea tunnel in Hartlepool. The elderly blind Jack Russell and his helper, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, were found abandoned in a sea tunnel in Hartlepool, Durham, about three weeks ago. Thankfully the unique pair were spotted and are now being cared for at rescue centre Stray Aid in Coxhoe, Co. Durham., where staff are now hoping to find the pals a new home. According to staff at the charity, the dogs - who are thought to be between nine and 10 - may have been abandoned due to their age. Buzz – who is nine – leads Glenn around and will even nuzzle him towards the right bowl if the Jack Russell starts eating from the wrong one.

Sue Bielby, who works at Stray Aid, said the center wanted the two dogs to be adopted as a pair, so they can ‘live out their lives peacefully with as little change as possible’.

‘Buzz acts as Glenn’s eyes and it’s as simple as that,’ she told the BBC. ‘Glenn gets his confidence from Buzz, and if they were separated even for a few minutes they both bark and become distressed, so they would need to have a loving home together.’

The dogs become upset if apart, she added.

  1. Ah yes, a “Staffy” I see. Because the UK Banned pit pulls. Seriously, forget breed bans, introduce dog licenses that require minimum training to get.
