As the news wears thin on the Sony hacks and the chaos surrounding Seth Rogan’s The Interview from last year, Myanmar has reportedly ordered for bootleg copies of the film to be confiscated.[1]
Following pressure from the North Korean embassy in the former Burmese capital of Yangon, the crackdown is resulting in the seizure of illegal copies and distributors being charged. The penalty, according to the Irrawaddy news, states that the distribution of films such as The Interview, are considered contrary to the Video Act.
Anyone caught illegally distributing The Interview will face up to a three-year term of imprisonment and/or a $97 fine (U.S.).[2]

you got to be joking
Distributing *anything* carries a prison sentence; this title is misleading.
Sony released this movie on their Youtube account. Everyone has some sort of Youtube recorder app!
