Shortly after the terrorist attacks in Paris, Le Petit Journal took to the streets to interview French citizens. At the scene of the Bataclan attacks, the French TV show came across Angel Le and his son, Brandon.
The father and son discuss whether they should move because of the “bad guys.” Brandon is afraid because “they have guns, they can shoot us because they’re really really mean, Daddy.”
But his father’s thoughtful and compassionate response quickly soothes the frightened young boy, as well as has offered hope to millions who have viewed the viral video.
Angel Le’s message is something we all should consider in the wake of violence and propagandized hysteria.
